Countryside Ear Cleaning: Michikusaya Suzushiro – The Veranda [Love Bites]

It's late April already. While dreaming of cherry blossoms that have scattered, leaving only their leaves behind, I turn the page on the April calendar. I bought this work about a year ago, but I still listen to it often, so I wanted to write a review. Suzushiro-san has fluffy hair and is always battling humidity — she's the "ankoromochi" type of girl. Day 1 is fairly reserved, but on Day 2 she suddenly turns sweet, like a winter daikon. Of course, she heals you with ear cleaning, sleeping beside you, and gentle teasing bites. As is typical for this circle, there's a huge volume of content letting you see many different expressions of her! She's one of the cutest in the series. I've been a fan of Shiro-san ever since listening to this work. The voice is by Mochi Yomogi. Her voice has an elegant sweetness like red bean paste, and her words flutter like they're being carried by the wind — she expresses Shiro-san's delicate nuances with a refreshing yet soft atmosphere. Also, Momoiro CODE has a very strong commitment to ambient sound — even just the cool sound of insects and water flowing in the background is soothing. The overall sense of sound distance is exquisite, and I especially love the sound of the towel. The ear cleaning sounds are always wonderful, but what I especially want to recommend in this work is the sound of the "gentle teasing bites." I think the first time I heard it was in the YouTube sample, and it was truly shocking. For those who want to be healed by various sounds, those who want to fall asleep feeling refreshed, and even those who want to feel Yomogi Mochi's voice close by at all times! The quality of this series is extremely high, so you can buy with confidence. There are currently 5 characters lined up, and among them, Suzushiro-san is the most ordinary, orthodox, and well-balanced character. She's like Mario. She's like Ryu. In this work, the completeness of the ambient sound has risen significantly, with dummy head recordings of the rustling sounds of the futon and kimono as she moves around, creating an incredible sense of presence. I think it's even a great achievement that they discovered the importance of the sound in the ear that's touching the thigh during the lap pillow scene.

I've been listening to the Michikusaya series going backwards from their most recent works, and the sense of presence in the sound is wonderful in every one of them. This older work too. It really makes you feel like you're in that kind of rural establishment. Also, the ear licking... it was already amazing even back then...

This is the third installment of the "healing at a rural shop" series featuring Suzushiro-san. It includes two nights' worth of parts, so considering the price, it's quite a substantial volume. The first night centers on ear cleaning for a peaceful sleep audio, and the second night lets you enjoy ear massage and a slightly more daring (borderline for an all-ages work?) Suzushiro-san. Personally, I feel the second night pushes right up to the line given the concept of "a shop that maintains a sense of distance." But she's cute, so it's fine. There are lines that hint at the relationship built up so far, but I don't think it's a problem even if this is your first time listening. The ambient sound, which is becoming a signature feature of this circle, is wonderful as always. Without being intrusive, it conveys the summer air in a truly "natural" way — the sounds of insects and frogs, grass rustling in the wind — making you feel like you're really there. There's also visible trial and error and progress in the sound effects, especially the ear-wiping sound effect, which is a must-listen — it really feels like your ear is being wiped with a soft towel. The ear cleaning sound seems to have been made quite soft to match the "for sleep" concept, so those who want to fully enjoy intense ear cleaning sounds might find it a bit lacking. It's probably better to think of it not so much as an "ear cleaning audio" but as an audio meant to let you enjoy the overall atmosphere. That's not to say the ear cleaning sound itself is low quality. With the introduction of binaural recording, the positional relationship between the characters comes through clearly, and I felt that this makes the sound effects and ambient sounds stand out even more. I'm looking forward to future works too. This is an excellent work at a level that heals you through sound and voice. If you're looking for healing audio for the summer, I think it's worth trying.

As always, the completeness of the ear cleaning sound was high and felt great on the ears. My favorite part this time was the "husband" bit on the second day. The first time I heard it, my grin wouldn't fade for a while, and I was writhing in agony on top of my futon. I think this is a work I can especially recommend this time.

From the surrounding ambient sounds to the ear cleaning sounds, the quality of the sound effects was high, making for a very pleasant audio experience. Also, Suzushiro-san's character elevates it into something even more calming, and I felt it was perfect to listen to before bed. This was my first time experiencing Michikusaya's audio, so I'll be checking out their previous works while looking forward to their future ones as well.

This work is the third installment of Michikusaya's Suzushiro series. The content is themed around healing centered on the ears. Not only whispering in your ear and ear cleaning, but also gentle teasing bites on the ear, cleaning with a towel, water sounds, and many more — you can enjoy a wide variety of sounds. Furthermore, since she whispers in your ear alongside these sounds, it felt very pleasant to listen to. Also, when moving from one ear to the other, small sound effects like the rustling of her kimono were included carefully, which I appreciated. The recording time covers both Day 1 and Day 2, so it's packed with volume. This is a work I'd recommend to anyone who wants to be healed by ear cleaning and whispering. Also, it's a work that even those who haven't known about the Michikusaya series before can enjoy, so if you listen to the trial version and find yourself interested, I don't think you'll regret buying it.

I bought this work quite a while ago, but it's still a masterpiece that hasn't faded at all even now. This was Michikusaya's first binaural work, and it was also from this work that they started including two parts. Personally, I think this is the work where Suzushiro-san's charm truly exploded. The "husband" line in the engawa scene is something I'm confident will make you go wild with moe. If there are any "husbands" out there who haven't bought this yet, go straight to the cart now.

The way she speaks slowly and gently is so cute. And yet it's wonderful how she says things that make your heart skip a beat. On the second day's engawa scene, the massage sounds are so calming. It's also lovely how she calls you "husband" while being a bit embarrassed about it. My favorite line is the one where she says, with a giggle, "We don't offer that kind of service," followed by "this little bit of cutting corners is absolutely a secret, okay?"

This is one of Shiro-chan's relatively early works. As for the sound, it's Michikusaya as expected — high quality that doesn't fall short even compared to their current works. As for the content, just as described, it lets you experience the quiet of a rural night, and depending on the person, it might even bring back a sense of nostalgia or make you recall certain smells. As for the meaning of this review's title, that's something to enjoy finding out after listening. It's a work that shows how Shiro-chan and the other members approach serving customers.
