【192kHz Hi-Res】Tabirako, the Wayside Inn — Old-Fashioned Ear Cleaning

The new face at the hidden inn "Michikusaya" (sounds like something from an old movie, lol), Tabirako-san. This is a flavorful piece where you can spend a gentle, soft night with her. This installment incorporates "high-resolution audio" recording, which has been a hot topic in mobile audio circles lately, and apparently this lets them express subtle ambient sounds that couldn't be captured before. So for you regular Michikusaya patrons (users, lol) who own hi-res equipment, this is a must-listen, must-buy. For those of you lamenting "Ugh, I don't have a hi-res device though..." don't worry. Even on regular equipment, I 100% guarantee you'll get that hi-res-like listening feel. Well, the files are a bit heavy, but it's such a superb work that makes that a non-issue. So, my impressions after listening... Actually... I'm a bit embarrassed to admit, but I still haven't managed to listen all the way through even now. Once you hear Tabirako-san's unique little interjections, it's 100% guaranteed you'll fall straight into a deep sleep, lol. The ear-nibbling is also done so gently and softly, mumble mumble, that most guys will probably be out cold, ZZZZzzzzzz, somewhere around there, lol. (The details are obvious if you download the trial version... or should I say "ear-obvious"? lol) Lastly, Tabirako-san... might be a beloved iron-kettle otaku girl, who knows, lol (← you should download the software right now to find out what that means).

Even though summer is approaching, I bought this because I was drawn to the sound of the iron kettle. Tabirako-san's catchphrase "haai~" is so addictive. And yeah, an iron kettle over a hearth is just great. Seriously great. I don't know if my earphones are hi-res compatible or not, but there's a gentle warmth that really reaches your skin. Hearing the crackling, sizzling, and simmering sounds up close like that is really wonderful. And on top of that, this huge volume. This is the first time I've seen a voice work split into 5 files. Is it really okay to sell this at this price?! It's like the surprise you get walking into a cheap, delicious, all-you-can-eat diner. Also, it's wonderful not having to toss and turn to change positions. Tabirako-san is a goddess.

After listening to the trial version, this became my first ear-cleaning voice purchase. I've bought every work from Michikusaya, but this one is my favorite. Tabirako-san's soft voice, her lines, the ear cleaning, the gentle ear nibbling, the iron kettle... everything is so soothing. In particular, the nibbling using just her lips is gentle yet deeply memorable, and it moved me—maybe that sounds exaggerated—to realize that voice alone could express something like this. Overall, the sound quality is wonderful, and I could naturally picture the scene unfolding in a room at an old inn. The included jacket artwork also has a lovely atmosphere, and I really like it. Highly recommended.

This is a perfect work for anyone seeking healing. Every work from this circle has been high quality, and I've been using them as a companion before bed for a while now. And this time, it's finally in hi-res audio. I actually bought a WALKMAN just to be able to play it on a portable device. I highly recommend this quiet, rich pre-bedtime moment with Tabirako-san to you as well.

The Michikusaya series is truly healing...! This time too, I thoroughly enjoyed a high-level sense of comfort! As always, the selling point of barely needing to move is a blessing. Since you don't have to awkwardly shift around, it's also easy to drift off to sleep. I compared the hi-res audio to the regular audio, and while I didn't feel a dramatic difference in sound quality, the hi-res version did feel more relaxing somehow. ...Well, maybe it's just my mood, lol. As for the new girl this time, Tabirako-san, she gives off a "healing onee-chan" vibe. Oh, not "onee-san" but "onee-chan." It's hard to explain, but please listen for yourself to feel the nuance difference, lol. That laid-back atmosphere is truly healing. The sound of the Nanbu iron kettle boiling water is amazing. Previously there was a clock ticking sound in the Ine-san work, and similarly, this is a strangely calming sound that seems to induce drowsiness. I don't know anything technical about sound, but I think this was well thought out. Personally, the nose-breathing and sighing during the nibbling part gave me chills. Ah, that's just unfair, lol. I accidentally let out a sound myself (^^; I don't want to drag this on too long, so I'll stop here... Anyway, it's so soothing. Highly recommended.

I've listened to many of Michikusaya's works, and this one is currently my favorite. I'm satisfied with everything—sound quality, volume, variety, and presentation. Beyond just ear cleaning, there are actions like nibbling, massaging, and wiping applied to the ears and shoulders. Each one lasts a good while, and of course the quality is excellent. This circle seems to use some kind of material that lets the simulated ear bend (something like 3Dio?), so you get relatively rare ear-deformation sounds. Highly recommended for those who like that. Even in quiet moments with pauses, the background iron kettle sound nicely masks playback noise. It made me realize that in voice works, silence isn't necessarily the quietest option. For me, voice is also part of the sound and sometimes I listen to it as background, but in this work it blends in beautifully, and the voice itself was also wonderfully enjoyable. Whether your fetish is ear cleaning, sound, or voice, this is a work I can recommend.

This is a work that makes you feel how amazing sound technology keeps evolving day by day. If you own hi-res equipment, I think this is a must-buy. But even if you don't, it's still packed with enough healing to let you sleep soundly and slowly. The ear-cleaning sounds are pleasant too, and the ear-licking doesn't have that noisy slurping sound, so overall it comes together as a genuinely quiet work.

This is Tabirako-san's day one, isn't it. She's one of the softest, calmest types in the Michikusaya series. Overall it's soft and settled, extremely suited for peaceful sleep. And it's absolutely overflowing with an aura that will definitely ruin you for anything else... Listening to the iron kettle's quiet sound while being gently nibbled, before you know it you're fast asleep... When you're worn out from the hustle and bustle of the city, I think this gives you healing like nothing else.

This is my favorite work among all of Michikusaya's. This caring, can't-help-but-look-after-you onee-san gives you a leisurely massage, ear cleaning, and ear licking. You can hear the iron kettle sound behind her voice, and it really helps you relax. You can also listen lying on your back, so it's perfect as a companion for bedtime. By the way, I've listened to this countless times at bedtime, but I've never once managed to listen all the way through—depending on the person, this could really help you sleep soundly.

True to its hi-res claim in the title, the sound quality is extremely high, and it was a very pleasant work to listen to. (Of course, you can't experience the high sound quality without hi-res compatible equipment...) The large file size is a slight drawback, but I hope more works like this with such high sound quality will keep coming out.
