[Sleep-Inducing ASMR] ASMR Healers: The Healing Sound Sleep-Battle

Every one of them a true warrior. I won't lose next time!

With a title that sounds like something out of a heroine sentai show, this work is actually a wonderfully novel concept: a battle between shop staff who use all kinds of ASMR to try to lull the listener to sleep, and the listener who resists their temptations to avoid dozing off. As explained within the work itself, even though it's framed as a competitive battle, you can enjoy it however you like—whether that's testing how long you can hold out, or giving up on "winning" from the start and simply letting yourself be lulled to sleep by the pleasant sounds. Well, honestly, it's already a lost cause for us listeners who watch this kind of work seeking comfort in the first place to try to "win" this battle. I myself was instantly knocked out by the lovely whispering voice and sound effects of Miya, played by the first challenger, Nanase Mayu... Thankfully, additional tracks were added, and with as many as six lovely shop staff each using their own specialty ASMR techniques to try to lull the listener to sleep, you're sure to find an ASMR style or staff member you love. There were even some staff who used techniques so intense you'd wonder "are they really trying to put me to sleep?!"—overall, it was a work I could enjoy for its truly rich variety.

This is a battle-format work where you try to endure without falling asleep from the soothing sounds provided by the shop staff. The ratio feels like about 3 parts talking to 7 parts ambient sound, so you can thoroughly enjoy the ASMR elements. As for the conversations with the staff, they're mostly casual chatter during the massage, along with responses and breathing sounds, so you won't find yourself kept awake wondering about the story. I think this is a perfect work to use as a sleep aid.

Just going by the title you might not notice, but this is a proper sequel to Cure Sounds—or maybe more of a side story? You play as someone who ends up challenging multiple shop staff in a lulling-to-sleep battle. Each staff member brings their own unique style of ASMR sound expression and onomatopoeia to soothe you. The sound of waves, crisp clicking noises, onomatopoeia, and even "I love you, I love you" whispered right in your ear—there are so many soothing elements! If you liked Cure Sounds or other entries in the CURE series, you're sure to love this one too! The only regret is that the scenario is structured so the "ending" is reached without you falling asleep, meaning each track includes a line lamenting "I couldn't get you to fall asleep! Too bad!" The more carefully you listen to the dialogue, the more likely you are to be jolted awake right when you're getting drowsy.

As the title suggests, this work is specialized entirely for putting you to sleep. Its power is immense—the moment the first character, Miya, starts talking, your mind can think of nothing but sleep. Apparently there are six characters total, but there's no way you'll be able to listen to all of them. You'll be knocked out by Miya alone. I listen to ASMR through stereo speakers, and with this audio work, I could feel that eardrum-trembling sensation from her whispering voice even through the speakers. There's no noticeable noise either—it's a work that truly pursues an extremely pleasant sound quality. Now that you've encountered this work, your safe sleep tonight is guaranteed.

This was a great work for those times when you're feeling a bit too wide awake. I can't quite put it into words, but whether it's the genre or the type of sounds, there's simply a huge variety to choose from, and I think being able to find the track that suits you best is this work's biggest strength. Quite a lot of voice actresses appear in it, so you might even discover a new favorite voice actress going forward.

I bought this mainly because I like Asami Yui. But various other voice actresses play different roles as well, so it might be fun to fall down the rabbit hole from here too. Once you're hooked, you end up buying things just because your favorite voice actress is in them, don't you? My favorite, Otoha, played by Asami-san, is the "peta-peta" (soft touch) type, lulling you to sleep with sound effects. Ahh, so soothing. My ears are happy and content. Of course, all the others were wonderful too, so I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a variety of different sounds.

It's a battle where the shop staff try to lull you to sleep with ASMR and you try not to fall asleep—but well, of course there's no way I could win. In fact, even before getting to the first opponent in track 2, I was already soothed by Kaho's voice while listening to the explanation in track 1, and fell asleep right there. I remember having to play it back more than 8 times just to hear the whole thing all the way through—that's how powerful the "nyuu" effect is. I think this is perfect to have with you when you go to sleep.

I already knew the Cure series existed from seeing it on sale, but this time I was drawn in by the fact that it features seven voice actresses, so I decided to buy it. Among all-ages releases, this work has quite a lineup of well-known names. As expected, each of them fully brought out their own charm and matched their characters really well. Since each of the six characters offers a different kind of comfort, I think it really covers a wide range of preferences. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who's been curious about it.

I'd occasionally seen this audio work around before, and since it features quite a large cast of voice actresses, I decided to give it a try. As the title suggests, it was an audio work with an amazing amount of volume for the price. Each character has clearly defined traits, making it easy to find one you like, and I thought the quality as ASMR was very high as well. Personally, the ASMR segment using an educational toy was fresh and left a strong impression on me.
