I had my eye on this since the trailer stage. I'm into monster girls, so just the fact that the illustration was a Scylla got me excited, but at the same time I thought, "Why did they choose a Scylla...?" The answer becomes clear once you listen! Since she's a Scylla, her legs are covered in mucus, right? Every time those legs move, they make a slick, pleasant sound. In a normal voice work, the space between healing parts would usually be a conversation part. But with a Scylla, every time she moves her legs you get to hear that slick sound, so it never lets your brain escape the whirlpool of healing! It's a super combo of healing → healing → healing! The fact that she subtly heals you in the bath is also a huge plus. The bed is great, but the bath is also packed with reassurance! I was extremely satisfied. Looking forward to the next installment.

Healing/sleep-aid ear cleaning voice works are a fiercely competitive format where the content tends to overlap, but even so, what is this reassuring quality that this artwork gives off? No, rather than "gives off," it might be more accurate to say it's right there on the surface — that kind of reassuring quality. And yet, it has none of that gimmicky, punchline-only feel; it's a highly polished healing voice work. Since it's a situation completely different from your typical healing voice work, I feel a lot of effort went into the sound design and dialogue delivery in a way that supports and fills out your imagination. The squelching, enveloping sounds are not unpleasant at all — if anything, they're overflowing with a gentleness that becomes more soothing the more you get into it. Lara, the Scylla, has a melting-sweet, doting older-sister personality, and the tone of her voice is relaxed and comfortable. The way she nails a standard sweet older-sister type at a high level, without trying anything gimmicky, strikes an exquisite balance with the work's own distinct personality. The scenario pulls you in with a wry smile over exquisitely Scylla-specific material like the lap pillow (?) and the oil (?), but then it ambushes you with whispers right at your ear that nearly send you to heaven — it looks specialized but is actually flawless all around. Even the massage where she suctions you with a "chu" sound through her suckers has a wholesomely pleasant ring to it, lol. It may seem niche, but it's actually a healing work with universal appeal, and at the same time, depending on how you steer your imagination, it can also satisfy you on the fetish side. That's the kind of piece this is, I think. But, at the risk of repeating myself, it's precisely because it's this kind of work that the plainly sweet, doting content hits you right in the heart. All I feel is gratitude. Also, Lara's all-out Scylla joke at the very end is a must-listen.

I've listened to a lot of ASMR voice works, and I think this is the best of the 2018 releases. On top of that, the fetish elements it includes (monster girl / tentacles), as well as non-audio factors like the low price, the script, and the progression and construction of the scenes, are all of very high completeness and quality. First of all, above all else, there's the mucus from the Scylla's distinctive legs (tentacles) and the "chu" suction feel of the suckers. You can experience this in the massage part too, but it really comes through best in the ear cleaning part. From the "kuchu-kuchu" feel of the mucus, to the "puchi-puchi" sound of the mucus and air popping as the tentacles press down, you get to savor a thorough "kuchu-puchu" sound at leisure. The conversation is well-balanced, neither too much nor too little, and Watayuki-san's voice is soft, sweet, and a little fluffy and comfortable. And that luxurious time is 30 minutes just for the ear cleaning alone! Plus the massage and shampoo on top, for a total of one hour! Also, the "chu" feel of the suckers on the tentacles is a sensation that feels like it should have existed before but hadn't. I've listened to other tentacle-themed voice works myself, but sucker-based ones are rare, and while there have been things like "tentacle assault on the ears" or "body massage via suckers," I think "ear cleaning via tentacles with suckers" (something that may have existed before, but still) is a revolutionary point in this work. (On top of that, you also get to experience ear cleaning with a regular cotton swab.) And above all, the fact that there's no erotic content is a wonderful point — as a healing ASMR work, it's made seriously and solidly. It's easy to recommend to others, and with its approachable construction and pricing (you get change back from 500 yen), it's easy to recommend even as someone's first ASMR voice work, while also being polished enough to recommend to fellow listeners who are already ASMR fans. I listen to ASMR before going to sleep, and lately, whenever I'm undecided, I've been falling asleep listening to this Turquoise. I can confidently say this is a work that can be listened to for a long time as a "companion" for healing, not just for its novelty or originality.

Works by Crescendo-san (Itachi Yuuto-san) always have stable, high-quality sound production, so I can buy them with peace of mind. And this time, the ultimate setup that felt like it should have existed but hadn't: tentacles × ear cleaning. Of course the ear cleaning sounds are great, but the texture of these octopus-like legs is one of a kind. In particular, the opening and closing sounds of the suckers as they attach to and detach from the skin are truly wonderful. The voice actress's performance is also very good. There's a unique gentleness to be felt in things like the expression of the "pause" as the tentacle slowly approaches the ear before touching it, and in the hypnotic-feeling lines and vocal delivery that induce comfort, which you get to hear in the latter half. As with the previous series entry, I'm quietly grateful that it's composed in a way that works regardless of age or gender. (It's surprisingly rare, as you'll find if you look for it.) Since the Scylla shopkeeper treats you courteously as just another customer, even if you're not, say, a young man with a particular mindset, you can purely enjoy the sound and the service. The shopkeeper is a character who does her job properly while having a bit of a cunning, childish side — personally I find her very endearing. There's also a unique scene during the exchange right before you leave that makes you burst out laughing. There's really nothing to complain about... if I had to say something, it would just be that I was a little concerned about Bonten getting covered in mucus, lol.

This is a work where a young lady of the Scylla race provides services like massages. This circle's sound quality is quite good and I always buy from them, but this time it hit exactly my particular kink, so I bought it the moment I found it. "I'll give you a massage with these (tentacles)~" — there's no way that's not going to feel amazing... and it's unfair that she cries too... In the latter half of track 2, the shoulder massage, there's a massage using the tentacles! This is incredibly thrilling and pleasant. Also, it's not just slick sounds playing — when she uses the suckers to massage, there's also a sound like a "pop," which as someone who likes non-human characters, I thought was great. During the ear cleaning too, she does various things to your ear with the tentacles. Honestly, I'm happy because this is something I'd been looking for, for about a year During the shampoo part, she also applies body soap with a separate tentacle at the same time, and I honestly thought that was a nice, practical touch...

"What even is a Scylla girl," you'd normally think, right? But what seems like a gimmick turns out to be tremendously skilled work. Since I've listened to Crescendo-san's other works, I wasn't worried about the quality. The performances of Watayuki-san in this work and the second one, and Mimoriai-san in the third one, also wonderfully soften the initial sense of unfamiliarity. The casting really was a masterstroke. And what especially deserves mention is its quality as ASMR. The sound of slimy tentacles writhing. The sound of them wrapping around your face and body. The sound of them fiddling around your ears. Written out like this it sounds eerie, even grotesque, yet strangely it becomes healing and comfort. And though it varies by individual, I'm sure there are people whose ears and brain register it as pleasure. At least for me, this series' tentacle play was pure pleasure. Since it's an all-ages work, there's no genre listed, but I think it counts as a so-called fetish. Lately I've seen opinions like "ASMR is at risk of being misunderstood as a somewhat lewd genre, so sexual content needs to be clearly separated." There's a point worth hearing there, and I don't mean to say it's unreasonable. But ASMR in the narrow sense is about gaining pleasure through sound — a field connected to instinct and pleasure. Isn't it rather hard to clearly draw the line of "separating it from eroticism"? Of course, there's also the aspect of it being a matter of degree. I've rambled a bit, but with that said: Anyway, something true of ASMR in general is that individual perception varies a lot. In extreme cases, there are even people who don't like the sound of ear cleaning. What I want to rate highly about this work is that, within the niche genre of octopus-leg tentacle sounds, it managed to broaden its range this far and finish it as an all-ages work. For these strange sounds, some people will feel an instinctive pleasure, while others will feel a comfort that's bound to put them to sleep. It might be a bit grandiose, but I'd call it a powerful work that offers a glimpse into the depths of the world of ASMR. And the fact that you can recommend it casually with "just give it a try," at a reassuring 300 yen (before tax), is just so strong (I've lost the words for it).

This is a wonderful work where a Scylla big sister gives you a moment of healing. As a simple healing-focused ASMR work, the quality is insanely high on its own, so I'd highly recommend it just for that, but the "Scylla" element in this work is really excellent too. Of course she's great as a character, but the unique sucker sounds of the Scylla are extremely pleasant, and the sensation of them sticking to and detaching from your ear is a feeling you can hardly get elsewhere — it's the best. And a work this wonderful in every respect is only 330 yen. Honestly, I think that's an unbelievable cost-performance ratio. I really have nothing but gratitude. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a wonderful kind of healing you can't normally experience in everyday life.

The person writing this is a weird one who came back after listening to the fourth installment, but the biggest point of this work is this: it's a tentacle-themed work, yet it's wholesome, and on top of that, it provides healing. Usually, the gaps in between are filled with something like a human voice, but even that — as part of this series as a whole — you can hear the sound of tentacles even while she's walking, so I think if you're the type to get into it, you'll really get into it.

When you say tentacles, you'd normally think "oh, that's a lewd thing"... but let's set that aside for now. The heroine of this work, Scylla's Lara-chan, has an extremely high healing factor — just her voice alone is enough to heal you. As the illustration shows, she's a scylla, so she provides healing using her tentacles, but it's the squelching, wriggling sound of the tentacles between treatments that's especially soothing. Guess I have no choice but to become a regular at Turquoise.

After buying my third Turquoise work, I got curious about their past releases and listened to the trial version. The voice actress sounded so cute and soothing that I bought it without hesitation. My personal recommendation is the "ear cleaning (?)" part. In this part, not only does she clean your ears, she also pokes and swirls around in them — with the splendid tentacles shown in the illustration. I got hooked, and before I knew it, I'd listened to it over and over again... Of course, the other parts also faithfully reproduce wonderfully realistic tentacle sounds, while also offering comfort geared toward humans. It's really wonderful. Tentacles are the best!
