Cure Face 2 - Mina [Re-edited Version]

I never imagined Yui Asami would end up voicing a role in the Cure Face series. Since it's Yui Asami, this work is rated for all ages, so there are no adult scenes, but in exchange, the main facial care segment surprisingly runs over an hour, packed solidly with exactly the kind of content the title promises. By removing the adult elements, it has turned into a work that lets you experience a truly realistic sense of being at a specialty salon.

This is the first all-ages work in the Cure series. In Cure Face 1, there was an explanation that there were three courses: "Basic," "Advance," and "Special," but this time it was the Basic course. The explanation for the Basic course was "a simple facial care session will be performed," but this time, without the Special course's R-18 elements, it more than makes up for that... no, in fact the total runtime has increased compared to last time, and the healing elements have increased even more. Mina, the newcomer voiced by Yui Asami, explains things every time the treatment location changes, and the exchanges near the end of each part have that fresh, innocent newbie feel to them—personally, this alone is incredibly soothing. Last time it was divided into "Facial Care" and "Head Massage," but this time it's all consolidated into Track 4, "Main Facial Care," which really takes care of your entire face. This part alone runs over an hour, and it's dense enough to leave you fully satisfied. Furthermore, this time there's also "Cleansing," "Shaving," and finally "Shoulder Tapping" as a finishing touch. The cleansing uses a suction device and steam. You can hear this in the trial version too, and it might be a rare sound among healing audio works. For the shaving, Mina carefully and meticulously makes sure there's no stubble left. The exchange at the end of this part is especially cute! The "shoulder tapping" part tends to be short in many healing audio works (at least that's my personal impression), but in this work, the tapping part alone lasts over 10 minutes. The pace and style of tapping change throughout, and Mina's cute vocalizations along the way keep it from getting boring. After finishing it, I already wanted to hear more. If you listen to it when sleepy, you'll definitely fall asleep (in fact, I fell asleep once during the facial care part). The sound quality is completely different from the trial version, so if you liked the trial, please do try the full product version.

Among the all-ages category, Yui Asami is truly the strongest... I find myself wondering what would happen if this person made her debut in anime or something. Since she's addressed as "customer" in this, it might not suit those who aren't into that kind of situation, but it's incredibly soothing. I think it's a relaxing kind of audio that you won't find in the erotic category.

I purchased this because Studio D-Vulst's new release was having a limited-time sale. I felt that this work as a whole had its atmosphere crafted very carefully. To give one example, looking at the newcomer Mina, during the initial guidance she speaks a bit fast and seems nervous, giving off a somewhat businesslike vibe. However, after moving to the treatment room, there's a bit where she mentions the room resembles her own, and her nervousness fades, shifting into a relaxed, soothing tone. This touch was a nice piece of direction that conveyed Mina's newcomer feel while keeping the service from feeling amateurish. As for the actual sound, which is the most important part, it was more than good enough, just as other reviews have praised. When it comes to facial treatments, personally the only thing I could think of was massage, but the wide range of services—including oil, suction, and mist—plus the main facial care taking a full hour, made for a truly substantial experience. Given all this, the only complaint I had was that the mist machine's mechanical sound felt a bit noisy. Even without the limited-time price, this was satisfying content. The limited-time sale apparently lasts for a month from release, so why not take this opportunity to purchase it?

The Cure series, voiced by Yui Asami, at an unbelievably low price—there was no reason not to buy it. Thank you so much! I was soothed by Mina's slow and careful treatment, with her mysterious, otherworldly vibe (Yui Asami's voice is a perfect fit!). The sound of birds chirping was a happy coincidence that matched the season I listened to it in. All of the treatments were exactly to my taste. I personally love pressure-point massages, so I was grateful for the explanations she gave. I was surprised to learn this work was actually released back in 2016. These days new technologies (?) keep appearing one after another, and as a buyer and listener, I can only be amazed. But realizing that such a wonderful work existed even years ago made me once again feel the breadth of audio works as a medium.

I like this circle's non-R18 audio works, so I bought this. The genre tag says "older woman," but I don't feel that strong of an older-woman vibe—more like a gentle woman. Both the facial care sounds and Yui Asami's voice are full of healing elements, and I keep dozing off before I know it.

The dialogue, the voice actress's performance, and the sound effects are all so natural that there's nothing that bothers you in a bad way while listening. This voice actress's voice in particular is excellent—so calming that when listening before bed, I fall asleep before even reaching the next track. It's a work I could listen to for hours.

The voice, sound effects, binaural recording, and treatment content are all used to their fullest to guide the listener into a state of relaxation. Because all of this is crafted so naturally, I found it wonderful how easily I could imagine actually receiving the treatment myself.

I purchased Studio D-Vulst's latest work, "Healing Older Sister - Mina," first, and after falling for her voice and big-sister charm, I bought this one too. I've bought quite a few audio works myself, and among them, I'd say this one ranks among the very top. If you're looking for healing from an older-sister type, you absolutely should buy this.

It's been over six months since I purchased this, but the performance was so consistently good that I'm writing a review. When listening to Studio D-Vulst's works, I recommend turning off the frequently-used environmental sound resembling birdsong and listening to the audio without it. The sense of realism from the silence between massage segments is irresistible. ...That's really all I wanted to say, so what I mean is, it's worth trying not just the trial but the actual purchase as well.
