Sauna Girl: Totonoi Relaxation with Yuna

A healing audio work themed around achieving "totonou" (that blissful post-sauna state) alone with a cute girl in a sauna. I got to spend a very calm and relaxed time with it. I love how it's crafted so you can really feel like you're in the sauna (plus bath) together with Yuna-chan. When you're actually in a sauna, you sometimes become aware of your own breathing echoing in your ears— and the fact that it's Yuna-chan's breathing! Right beside you! Doing that! really makes you feel, deep down, like you're truly sitting in the sauna together with her! Of course it's not just that—there's also the occasional hiss of steam reaching your ears, and aside from sauna-related chat, conversation is kept to a minimum, with deliberate stretches of silence so you can focus on the breathing. I really felt like this was crafted to let you soak in the sensation of being in the sauna together with Yuna-chan. The minimal talking is only during the sauna part— you can fully enjoy conversation and closeness with Yuna-chan during the bath and outdoor cool-down parts. Listening to cheerful, cute Yuna-chan chat away, getting teased a little here and there— you really get to savor that pleasure of relaxed, laid-back conversation while soaking in the bath. Also, throughout the whole work, there's ambient hot spring sound plus healing BGM playing. I felt this fit well in both the sauna part and the bath part, and really contributed to the relaxation. As for the "totonou" experience of a sauna in audio form— actually bringing it into a real sauna to listen might be tough, but listening while lying down with a warmed-up body after a bath gives an amazing relaxing effect. This is a work I'd really love for people to experience!

I love hot-spring-themed works for their sound design, so I went ahead and bought this one right away. The voice is by Asami Yui, so I could listen with peace of mind, and it's incredibly soothing. The setting is a sauna at a local neighborhood bathhouse, and the healing-style BGM playing at a low volume feels really pleasant. In reality, I don't think there are many places where BGM actually plays inside the sauna itself, so that part was a really nice touch. Both the voice actress and the sound were extremely comfortable to listen to, so overall I'm satisfied with this work.

First of all, the ambient sound creates a great effect. The Japanese-style BGM and the sound of flowing water give the space a sense of depth, heightening immersion to the point where you forget you're wearing earphones at all—it even feels open and spacious. Yuna's natural, not-overly-produced cute voice is also appealing. Thanks to the rich ambient sound, there's never a break in the audio, making it ideal as sleep-inducing audio. Though on the flip side, even when I try to listen seriously, I always end up falling asleep before the end—maybe that's the only downside.
