The Childhood Friend I Reunited With in High School Is Way Too Close [Ear Cleaning, Shampoo, Sleeping Together]

This work is titled something like "The distance between reunited childhood friends in high school is off," and despite having spent a fair amount of time apart, the way she closes that distance... and how she seems afraid of being separated again... makes her one of the most clingy heroines in the Zero Distance Girl series. I wonder if the fact that both "Aoi" and "yori" (meaning "depend/cling") are in her name is meant to reflect her personality. From those narrow, sharp eyes there's a cool first impression, but you can see how much she loves the listener/protagonist overflowing from her, and the anxiety hidden within her, perhaps stemming from the fear of being separated again, really got to me. I absolutely was not getting all hot and bothered over the swimsuit and ample breasts visible through her wet, see-through blouse in the jacket illustration. No, definitely not. Really. If this happened in real life it might be a little scary, but this is the world of fiction... and having such a beautiful heroine, voiced so gorgeously by Yuko Natsuyoshi, show this much affection toward you is nothing but a reward... it was amazing...! I hope their next date isn't ruined by a sudden downpour, and I'm looking forward to a sequel!

If I had to describe this work in one phrase, it would be "the thick, sticky sweetness of a girl in love." The heroine, Aoi, was separated from you for a time, so she shows an extremely deep affection toward you. On the other hand, there are lines that stir up a bit of desire in you, like "Did you want to keep looking at me in my swimsuit?" or "I wonder what kind of things you have that you don't want girls to see," which also gives a sense of endearing effort as she tries to make you conscious of her as a woman. But what really stands out above all is Natsuyoshi-san's voice and acting. In the ASMR works she's done up until now, she's tended to play more downer-leaning characters, giving off a sweetness wrapped in a gentle softness. In contrast, this work uses a slightly higher voice, pushing the sweetness much more to the forefront. To put it in an analogy, if the former is like a marshmallow with chocolate inside, this one is more like a chocolate fondue. Needless to say, both are pleasurable enough to melt you down to the bone. I'd really like to ask the maker for a sequel. I want to be melted more and more by Natsuyoshi-san's voice.

I think many people probably sensed it just from looking at the illustration, but the appeal of this work is the high "humidity" throughout the entire piece. The affection you can feel in bits of the dialogue, along with the moist, heavy sense of an intense attachment that seems to be edging toward yandere territory, is pushed to the forefront, and just listening to it makes the humidity in the room rise higher and higher. One point of concern is that in the early part, the lines are delivered not as whispers but at a normal speaking volume, so there were a few spots that felt a bit piercing/harsh on the ears. Just a heads-up for those who are sensitive to that. That aside, I was able to enjoy it quite a lot. It has the sense of presence befitting the "Zero Distance Girl" series name, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a work where you can really savor that dense, humid atmosphere above all.
