The sheep god Mayoi-san has a laid-back personality that really comes through in her way of speaking, with a kind of soft, fluffy tone, and it matches Minaka Iwami's voice quality perfectly — somehow listening to it makes me feel like my serotonin and oxytocin levels are rising (lol). Apparently sheep headbutt you when they're happy, and in Track 5 and others there's a scene where Mayoi-san headbutts the listener, and it's just SO cute. The way she says "gottsuun"... I love it. Is it like a cat rubbing its head against you? Also, the sound of the suikinkutsu (water harp) is beautiful and I really love it! I had just become curious about suikinkutsu sounds after reading about them in an article, and in Track 7 the beautifully flowing suikinkutsu sound behind Mayoi-san's narration was wonderful. The bonus track is a collection of short system-voice-style tracks, and Mayoi-san awards you the "You Worked Really Hard Today" award every day. Yay.

I bought this because I love Minaka Iwami. It was a really wonderful work. If you like Iwami-san, you should just buy it. It's also great simply as a sleep aid, so listen to the sample and if you like it, go ahead and buy it. She speaks to you gently and leisurely with a kind voice, so it's very pleasant to listen to, and extremely soothing and calming. If you let your guard down, you'll drift right off to sleep... zzz... ...Oh wait, no, I haven't fallen asleep, really. As for the story, the end of the main part has a bittersweet feel, but the epilogue is happy. Because of that bittersweetness, her straightforward, direct "I love you" hits hard. Scarily hard. (I've lost my vocabulary) The whispering right by your ear, close enough to feel her breath, during the ear cleaning or the sleeping-together scenes, is just irresistible. There's also ear-blowing, which makes it even more irresistible. I feel like I could have a really happy dream. I'm very satisfied, but if I may be a little greedy, it would have been even better if there'd been a bonus track where Mayoi-san uses you as a body pillow and falls asleep together with you. Please hug your own body pillow tightly while listening. It'll definitely boost your immersion. See, if you close your eyes, you can see lots of Mayoi-sans waving at you. If there are that many, surely one of them could come... over to my place... right...? zzz... zzz...

This work is basically a healing-type situation voice drama. The sheep god Mayoi-san does ear cleaning and sleeping together at a hot spring for us, and Iwami-san's gentle, relaxed voice combined with the ambient sounds slowly invites sleepiness. My personal rating for this work would be a 6 out of 5 — it's that good, and I think it's something I can recommend to almost anyone. The one thing I personally thought was that if the ear-cleaning sounds were made a bit more pronounced, it would especially hit the spot for people who love ear-cleaning sounds.

I bought this partly because Minaka Iwami is a voice actress I really love. She plays an adorable sheep girl. While covering the classics like ear cleaning and shampooing, the whispering right in your ear is also great. Her personality and way of speaking are very soft and fluffy, giving the whole work a very laid-back atmosphere. There are also several scenes where she's affectionate with you, and true to being a sheep, she actually goes "baa~". I ended up reacting just like the title says. And then there's the scene where she talks about her past. It's a touching story, honestly it made me sad. Precisely because Mayoi is such a good girl, I teared up a little. From the beginning all the way to the epilogue, it's a very satisfying work. Please give it a listen.

I had been thinking "someday I want to buy a Minaka Iwami work..." and right at that time I came across this one. The setting of a "sheep god" is a bit unusual, but that character matches Minaka Iwami's voice perfectly and it's incredibly soothing. Since buying it, the quality is good enough that I listen to it every night before bed and always fall asleep. I can say with certainty that you will never regret buying this!

The content is so devoted to the listener that it made me tear up a bit, my sleepiness fading away, and after listening, I found myself worrying whenever Mayoi-san looked sleepy. With this installment, all five great hot springs of the Yaoyoro hot spring village are now complete — I wonder what the next work will be like. I'm curious about how the listener and the gods are doing in the present world.

Since Minaka Iwami was starring in it, I bought an ASMR work for the first time. You'll be smiling within the first 10 seconds — please try listening to the sample. This is going to be addictive... The fluffy sheep god is irresistible. I especially love the way her breaths and whispers are expressed, and the ambient sounds that let you feel nature are also very pleasant. This was way more unexpected than I could have imagined. Who would have thought the day would come when an ASMR work would make me cry. It seems that to properly recommend this to everyone, I simply don't have enough words for this review. Well, if I sum it up like a list: - Mayoi-san is a sheep god, but she still doesn't have a shrine - She's fluffy and her body temperature is outrageously high. - When she's happy, she headbutts your forehead with a "gottsuun♪" - For some reason she seems to know the protagonist...? - She apparently has various items that are bad for sheep...? - She doesn't worry too much about the details. Goes at her own pace? But that's part of what makes her cute. - Apparently there's actually a serious past...? That's the general gist of it. Personally, my favorite is Track 7. To give a slight spoiler, it's about the past between the protagonist and Mayoi-san. But anyway, you really won't know the content unless you buy it and listen for yourself. That said, consider this a tear-duct-collapse warning. Also, in the epilogue there's a word, "lavender," and if I may give one hint, think about the meaning of the lavender flower. One of its meanings is, "happiness is coming."
