Oshigoto Neiro: Bartender Edition — Shaker Sounds, Water Sounds, Hypnotic Whispers (CV. Reina Ueda)

It's been a day since I bought this. I've been listening to it in bed before sleep. I've listened twice, but both times I fall asleep around track 2 or 3 and before I know it, it's already stopped playing... Amazing... no, I really can't say anything but amazing. The beautiful clinking sound of ice, Ueshama's soothing voice — everything is so high-quality that the healing factor is just insane. Is it really okay for this to be this cheap with this level of quality? Thank you as always.

I bought this because I really like Reina Ueda. This was my first time purchasing a voice work with a bartender setting, and I'm glad I did. The recording quality was also beautifully clear, and the sounds unique to a bar — ice being chipped, a shaker being shaken — felt fresh to me. I especially loved the sound of playing cards; it made me realize just how pleasant that sound can be. Lyra, played by Ueda-san, is a bartender with such a gentle atmosphere, and just listening to her voice is incredibly soothing. It made me wish there really was a bar like this somewhere.

Like other reviewers, I bought this work mainly because of the voice actress, Reina Ueda, and I'd like to report that it was truly amazing. For listening, of course I used the final VR3000. Many of you probably know it's used as kotoneiro's monitoring earphones. It really does pick up even the finest details of sound. The setting is an ASMR bar, where Lyra treats you to all kinds of ASMR experiences — the sound of glasses, the sound of a whiskey bottle, and toward the end, even the sound of cards, which she says she's good at handling. ...And behind all of that, you can hear Lyra's breathing. That's what the review title "close" refers to — hearing her faint breaths makes you feel like she's really right there with you. It's amazing. It really does feel like, "S-so close, Lyra-san..." I listen to this before going to sleep, and it's incredibly calming. Her composed voice feels like it seeps soothingly into your body... If you're even just casually browsing this work's page, you won't regret buying it. Absolutely not.

Reina Ueda's breathy whisper voice pairs extremely well with ASMR, and combined with the pleasant shaking and water sounds, this work delivers the ultimate sense of healing. Another charm of this work is that both Ueda-san's acting and the ambient sounds feel very natural, without any of that forced, anime-like artificiality. Put on your earphones, close your eyes, start listening, and before you know it, over an hour has passed. It's crafted to be that immersive. As a side note, coincidentally, another ASMR work featuring Ueda-san was released from a different label just the day before this one. Her performance there is completely different from this one, so listening to both and comparing them will likely make you enjoy each one even more.

I bought this because I was drawn to Reina Ueda, who voices this work. I thought her voice quality would suit a whisper voice perfectly, and that impression was spot on. Also, as is typical of Kotoneiro's works, the story is well put together. Each track's situation isn't just, say, ear cleaning for the sake of ear cleaning — you can enjoy the relationship with the character by listening to the whole work, while also enjoying it purely as ASMR. It's a high-quality, excellent piece.

I bought this for healing purposes, mainly wanting the sounds of carbonation and ice. The sound of ice being dropped into a drink — so good!! Every sound is incredibly clear, with amazing resolution. It's really impressive. The carbonation sounds feel like they fizz all the way up to your brain — as expected of kotoneiro. The dedication to sound design is wonderful. As for Ueda-san, she wasn't a voice actress I was particularly a fan of, but just like everyone else in the reviews says, her voice is calming and well-suited for ASMR. It's the kind of voice you want to listen to before falling asleep. I really wasn't paying much attention to the scenario, but I thought "oh, an ASMR café setting, didn't see that coming!" and the little bits of trivia about alcohol sprinkled throughout were both practical and enjoyable to listen to. On the other hand, one thing that bothered me a little was that the phrase "~sasete itadakimasu ne" (a polite ending) appeared several times in a row. I don't really care about strict correctness in polite speech, but since this is an audio work, having the same sentence-ending repeated made it feel a bit draggy. Also, the way the sound cut off near the loop point of the carbonation ASMR bothered me a little and slightly broke the immersion. Other than that, it's a pretty much flawless, near-perfect healing ASMR work. I'll be listening to it many more times!

You don't need to know anything about alcohol. She explains everything to you. The explanations themselves are soothing. And cute. Even someone bad with words like me was fine. Even if you can't drink, you can get "drunk" just from her voice. I ended up feeling woozy. I really want everyone else to experience this kind of lovely "drunkenness" too. I feel like I somewhat understand what people mean when they say alcohol is "the lubricant of life." You can even learn some knowledge about alcohol! I want to go to a bar like this. I want to be served by a bartender like this. This work fulfills that kind of wish. The sound of ice being crushed is so good~

I purchased this because it's an ASMR work featuring Reina Ueda. True to a bartender, the pleasant, clear sounds of shaking a shaker and crushing ice are very soothing. Even for the carbonated water sounds, it felt like the fizzing was happening right next to your ear. Personally, I especially loved the sound of cards being shuffled, and I've been playing it on repeat. Since this is produced by Kotori Koiwai, I'm looking forward to more in the future.

Reliable sense of presence as always. I'm not usually someone who can handle alcohol well, but this is the first time I've felt glass sounds this pleasant. This work lets you enjoy a variety of sounds at a perfect sense of distance, rather than having them resonate deep in your ear. The glass sounds and other slightly higher-pitched tones are prominent, but since you can comfortably listen even while falling asleep, I'd say it's perfect to have as a companion in just about any scene, as always. This was probably the first time I've felt pleasure from the sound of an ice pick crushing ice.

This is an ASMR work centered around cocktail explanations and cocktail-making, performed in Reina Ueda's clear, pure voice. Above all, the strange purity of her voice comes through first. The content is relatively simple, progressing throughout with the distance of a customer and staff relationship, so it feels a bit different from customer-service ASMR works that have a closer sense of distance — but this has its own charm in its own way.
