Neko-gurashi: The White Catgirl's Innocent Tail — Ear Cleaning & Carbonated Cotton Swabs

What an era we live in, where a genuinely popular professional voice actress would "descend" into performing in a doujin audio work lol. The quality is, as expected, top-notch. No complaints. The price is a bit steep for a doujin work category, but considering that this kind of (professional voice actress) work is normally the level you'd see as a pre-order bonus for a Blu-ray box set, it's actually a bargain lol. I sincerely hope the series continues.

No complaints about the content, performed by a famous voice actress. It was really good. I'll leave the rest of the "it was good" points to other people's reviews. (It'd just be repeating the same thing, so I won't bother writing it out...) With the premise that it was good established, here are 3 points that bothered me. Track 2 has the voice volume set a bit loud compared to the sound effects. When I turn up the volume to hear the carbonated sound effects, the voice gets loud and startles me; conversely, when I turn down the voice to use it as a sleep-inducing sound, the ear cleaning sounds become almost inaudible. The balance on something like Track 5 would be ideal. Also, Track 7's put-to-sleep segment is so high quality that the bell sound at the end bothered me. Right when I thought I might fall asleep, the bell sound woke me up. If the bell scene were separated out, I think you could loop just Track 7. Lastly, compared to other audio works, it was a bit disappointing that the breathing sounds didn't really resonate in my ears. I'm not sure if that's due to the microphone or the distance, since I'm not an expert. I wrote these opinions because I have high expectations, but I hope these points get improved in the future.

The rustling sound ringing pleasantly right by your ear felt really nice. The sound stays slightly understated to match Shiro-chan's relaxed narration, which lets you smoothly immerse yourself in the world. The sleeping-together part also lets you drift off smoothly while feeling reassured by Shiro-nyan's slow, relaxed breathing. I got to spend two hours of sweet time with her.

I was drawn in by the cast — Ayana Taketatsu — and after listening to the trial version, I found the performance style to my liking, so I bought it without hesitation. I was right to buy it. She's truly adorable. The content overall is a fairly standard healing-type ASMR, and the sound quality is high, so I think this is an easy work to recommend even to beginners who know a bit about voice actresses but don't know much about doujin audio works and aren't sure where to start. Above all, the sense of security in Track 7's put-to-sleep segment is amazing, so please listen to it. You'll sleep soundly.

It's a bit different from sleeping together, but hearing the sleep-like breathing sounds was soothing, and I got drowsy and felt healed by it. I like not just the voice actress's voice but also the sound design and the story, so I plan to keep buying the "Neko Gurashi." series going forward.

She's an ojou-sama cat, but a refined, elegant ojou-sama rather than the "ohoho"-laughing type. The basic content — whispering, ear cleaning, massage — is the same as the Mike-chapter, but in this work the ear cleaning cotton swab is a carbonated one. As with the previous work, I still felt that, despite the quality of the voice and acting, the sound design wasn't being fully utilized. If you're a fan of Ayana Taketatsu, this is definitely an item you won't regret buying — a solid fan item.
