Ear Cleaning Overload: Nekogurashi. 2 ~A Siamese Catgirl's Endless Hospitality~

Ponytail to cat ears, cat mouth, collarbone cleavage, hands, thighs (said quickly). Isn't it great when the illustration is wonderful. I ended up buying it on impulse because of the cover art. Anyway. The previous work, Kayanon's first installment, had fairly low ASMR sound quality due to the mic, and the sense of vocal distance was inconsistent, so both reviews and actual impressions weren't very high. Since the acting itself was so good, it left a somewhat disappointing impression. Building on that experience, this is Kayanon's second installment. First and foremost, Kayanon's acting is wonderful. The sense of vocal distance is perfect, and combined with a sweet voice quality that's clear yet lingers in your mind, you can feel the character's "life" right there beside you. The word endings like "~yu" and "~nya" feel completely natural. As is customary for the series, the opening whisper right at your ear, "ne-ko-gu-ra-shi," is also insane. The anime voice actress showed her true power there. And now, the matter of ASMR sound quality. I was already confident after the sample, but upon actually listening through headphones, the quality improvement seen in recent works is fully realized here as well. The ear cleaning, massage, shampoo, and whispering sound pressure are exquisite, and the comfort is such that you'll want to stay immersed forever - it will put you to sleep without you even noticing drowsiness. Also, about the work description's claim of "covering both hearing and touch through the combination of KU100 and a vibration mic" - that's true too. I tried comparing headphones and canal-type earphones, and personally, I felt the headphones made the sound pressure feel rough and coarse, while the canal-type earphones gave a delicate sound pressure that seemed to resonate inside the skull. I recommend listening with canal-type earphones. And about the title's claim that "you can hear Kayanon nibbling on your ear" - that's true too. I was dozing off while listening when I got my ear nibbled and jolted awake. I was impressed there was a hidden element not even mentioned in the work description... It lasts just a few seconds total for both ears, but what a few seconds. Everyone, don't miss track 3.

Ahh, so soothing. The Siamese cat's massage is really great. The little chant she makes while giving a shoulder tap was too cute. "Pat-pat, pat-pat, pat-pat-pat ♪" With that comfortable vibration and cute chant, there's no way it couldn't be soothing. The chant that changes partway through is also cute. "Nyan-nyan, nyan-nyan, nyan-nyan-nyan ♪" It wasn't just about being massaged - there were also parts where I got to massage the Siamese cat in return. The way she went all limp and made those sweet-sounding voices of pleasure was too cute. "Track 8" was really good. It's full of healing and cuteness, so it made me happy. When I'm tired, I want the Siamese cat to massage me again and soothe me, nyan. Nyan-nyan.

This work focuses heavily on the hot spring section, but there's plenty of other soothing content too. Of course, when it comes to hot springs, there's the classic back-washing and shampoo. There's also some comfort that I don't think has appeared before, and it's made to feel great to the ears. This time there's comfort beyond just shampoo and back-washing, so please listen and see for yourself. After returning to the room, there's the usual ear cleaning and massage. This time you also get to learn a bit more about the cats. That part is something to enjoy by listening for yourself.

I thought it would come out eventually, but I never expected the second installment of the Siamese cat to be released this soon... Once again I did a scramble dash to the convenience store late at night. As expected, Kayanon... Kayanon solves everything... Just like last time, it's flawless Kayanon. If you're a Kayanon fan, you won't regret buying this! As for the sound, there are parts that are more powerful than before, especially the shampoo sounds and the sound of water being poured, which felt really good. That said, compared to other works, there are still parts where the sound quality and pressure fall a bit short, so those who listen to a lot of ASMR works might find it somewhat unsatisfying. For those who prioritize the voice actress, I can recommend this without question, but for those who prioritize the sound, I personally feel I can't recommend it as strongly.

You get taken care of at a hot spring by the "Siamese cat" voiced by Ai Kayano. Once again, you get taken care of by the Siamese cat at a hot spring. In the previous work too, I was soothed by the very warm, gentle atmosphere while also feeling my heart race a bit at its somewhat mysterious vibe. I listened through this one excitedly wondering how I'd be soothed this time. Since it's set at a hot spring inn, I listened while imagining being shampooed and having my body washed while hearing that soothing voice. Below are some thoughts on the content (partial spoilers) In the "Introduction," each individual sound has such a three-dimensional, immersive quality that I was able to listen very comfortably. In "Back Washing," the sound of being scrubbed on the head with shampoo and having my back scrubbed felt so pleasant that I could just sink into it and listen intently. In "Scalp & Ear Massage," having my head massaged in a kneading motion was such a pleasant stimulation that I thought I might fall asleep here too. Just listening to the leisurely sounds made me incredibly drowsy. In "Ear Cleaning," having it done while being spoken to gently the whole time felt so comfortable that I wanted to keep listening forever. In "Oil Massage," listening to the pleasant squelching sound of the oil while being massaged was nice, like I could just space out while listening. In "Massage," being stroked, kneaded, patted, and pressed by the "Siamese cat" was simply so comfortable that when I listened to it privately, I just fell asleep naturally. In "Putting You to Sleep," you can just drift off to sleep as is.

This is the second installment of the Siamese cat from the Nekogurashi series. The reliable Ai Kayano, as always. Just hearing her voice was soothing. Have you gotten used to it, meow? Way too cute~~ Since it's mainly set at a hot spring, the content includes things like carbonated shampoo, scalp massage, oil massage, along with the usual ear cleaning and putting-to-sleep segments. The voice is incredibly soothing - if you close your eyes, you can feel like she's right there with you. Honestly, she's so cute that no matter what she talks about, it's really soothing... Ai Kayano is amazing as always. Being put to sleep on her lap makes you go stupid~~ uhyoo~~!! The best!! Right now it's on sale for 1200 yen! Super cheap

Following the previous Ai Kayano work, the voice and content match up really well. She whispers a lot, so there's a lot to appreciate - really too much to write here. As a voice work, the price is on the higher side, but it offered satisfaction that matched the price. Well, compared to today's anime drama CDs, this is far cheaper, and it's more soothing too, so if you're the type who likes that, you should buy it.

Following the previous work "Nekogurashi," the Siamese cat girl appears again. The Siamese cat girl has a bit of a relaxed, carefree quality to her in a good way, and she speaks each line's ending in a casual, broken manner, which is incredibly cute. Personally, I really love the shoulder-tapping scene and the ear-cleaning scene. While being soothed by Ai Kayano's voice saying these lines, I also find myself squirming at how overwhelmingly cute it is. Also, there are chat tracks with the Siamese cat girl in between, where she shares her thoughts about this world and - as in the previous work too - talks about her relationship with the protagonist, giving glimpses into parts beyond just comfort, which felt a bit bittersweet. With both soothing and non-soothing elements, the work overall has a nice ebb and flow, and I think it's easier to get drawn in thanks to the story continuing from the previous installment.

Having had my ears soothed by the previous work, I once again obtained a blissful moment of being soothed by Ai Kayano's voice in this work as well. This time, a wonderful hospitality awaits at the bathing area. The sound quality feels improved compared to the previous work - I listen to this particular work using SHURE SE215, and all I can say is that it's wonderful. In particular, the water sounds during the bathing scene match the world setting perfectly, giving an outstanding sense of immersion. It has become my daily routine to listen to this work and fall asleep soothed before bed at night when I have time, like before holidays. I feel very fortunate to have encountered this work.

I bought this because I enjoyed the previous Sister Siamese work! I get to be lovey-dovey and relax leisurely with Sister Siamese again after a while! This time, in addition to ear cleaning, you also get to go into the hot spring together, which is the best. As always, I thought the acting by the Nekogurashi voice actress was superb. She hits the spots you can't reach yourself with pinpoint accuracy, so to speak - her sense of pacing between intensity and gentleness is outstanding.
