Perfect for fans of the 'A Sister's All You Need' series and anyone craving a warm, nostalgic sibling-comfort ASMR experience.
Yuu, a lonely boy, spends quiet summer nights with his sister Chiyo, a mysterious otherworldly being who took human form to be with him. Sitting together on the veranda, they share gentle whispers amid the sounds of rain, fireworks, and fireflies.
Waiting for the rain to stop, basking in the night breeze on the veranda, watching sparklers glow and fireflies drift by— through it all, Chiyo-nee's warmth is always there beside me. "Breathing in the night, breathing it out. It's like your life and mine are overlapping, blending together, Yuu-kun." A certain summer night, spent together with my sister. "Ahh, I wish this time could last just a little longer... forever, even—" Supervised by Suou Patra, starring Suzushiro Sayumi, this is the audio work (situational voice drama) for 'Anenaru Mono' (Something Like a Sister). Along with ambient sounds like the patter of a summer downpour and the crackle of sparklers, spend a gentle, quiet time with the heroine, Chiyo, in four voice dramas that let you sink into nostalgic memories of summer. ※This work is not so-called "ASMR." It is a "voice drama" meant to be enjoyed for its story and ambient sound.
"In exchange for something precious, I shall grant you whatever you desire." A being of otherworldly nature—called both god and demon— who stays close to Yuu, a lonely boy who has lost his parents. At Yuu's wish, she has taken on a human form and now lives with him as his "sister." Though unused to modern life, she approaches it with boundless curiosity, playing the role of the ideal "onee-chan"—bright, gentle, and warm. "It's all right, Yuu-kun... just leave it to your big sister, okay?"

From now on, whenever I read "Ane naru Mono," I feel like Sayumi Suzushiro's voice will play in my head as Chiyoya-nee. Yatta! Since Patora Suou supervised it, the ambient sounds were great too. With frogs and insects chirping in the distance, thinking "Ah, they're having such intimate communication in this tasteful mansion surrounded by rice fields..." is just irresistible!
I'm a fan from Taiwan. My Japanese isn't very good, so please forgive me. Thank you, I truly love Onee-san. I sometimes take out the manga and read it too. I really love how Chiyoya-nee is kind but a little airheaded. When I saw the announcement that an ASMR would be released, I was so happy. I think Sayumi Suzushiro's voice suits Chiyoya-nee perfectly too. This ASMR was truly wonderful. Pochi-sensei, thank you so much for releasing Chiyoya-nee's ASMR.
November 29th. An announcement flowed across Twitter (now X) that a voice work had been decided for release, and there it was—Sayumi Suzushiro as the lead, Patora Suou as supervisor... Yes, my purchase was confirmed. More than that, I've been listening to every single one of Sayumi Suzushiro's voice works up to the latest release, so there was never any option but to buy it... Putting my personal feelings aside, this work was released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of "Ane naru Mono." It depicts a slice of life shared by the protagonist—or rather, "Yuu" from our perspective—and his onee-chan, "Chiyoya." To understand the world, I checked out the YouTube PV and the commercial version's Twitter. And then release day finally arrived. After Iida Pochi-sensei's countdown livestream, December 13th came. I bought it immediately and started listening right away. Yes... it seems I do have an onee-chan. Or maybe, perhaps I always did... There, amid natural ambient sounds like rain and fireworks, was Suzushiro-san's gentle voice ringing in my ears... The voice we usually hear from Suzushiro-san is full of energy—innocent and lively—and in many anime works, she leaves a strong impression as an upbeat, energetic type. But even so, in this work she also portrays "Chiyoya" with a calm, transparent quality, and the gap left both my eardrums and my heart trembling. Every inflection in her words, every breath, every lingering sound was all so pleasant that if you close your eyes, it becomes easy to imagine—almost hallucinate—that you yourself have become "Yuu." I really do have an onee-chan after all. While feeling the sibling love through Tracks 1, 2, and 3, Track 4 arrives with a lower voice, and the warm, cozy atmosphere shifts, as if the sound itself vanished. The tone shifts from "onee-chan" to something more like "onee-sama,"—the second gap delivered the finishing blow. I'll be eagerly waiting for the next ASMR installment that's already been announced.
This is a voice work recording events from a certain day in August spent with Onee-chan. An evening after the rain, watching the night breeze and the Milky Way together on the veranda, sharing sparklers, and then fireflies—it's absolutely packed with summer memories. And with the sound of bells, ramune soda, and insects chirping, just listening makes you feel transported right back to that day. On top of that, it's got everything—the cuteness of Onee-chan being affectionate, Chiyoya-san's warmth as she spoils you, Chiyoya-nee's playful innocence as she joins in the fun, and the reliability of a goddess who protects you when it truly matters. It's incredibly dense. I wanted this time spent with Onee-chan to last even one second longer, and before I knew it, I found myself listening back to it over and over. I really, really want everyone to experience this too. P.S. Go read the 28th Night from the commercial original!
I purchased this because Pochi-sensei's, who's also active on YouTube, representative work became a voice work. The way Chiyoya-san spends a leisurely time together on a summer night, away from the city's bustle, surrounded by the sounds of trees and insects, brings back nostalgic memories of playing at relatives' houses in the countryside during summer vacation as a child. Personally, I was satisfied thinking that the gap in Suzushiro-san's expression on Track 4 arose from the very depth of "Ane naru Mono" itself. I heard a sequel ASMR has also been decided for later, so I'm already looking forward to it.
This is the voice drama of the well-known manga "Ane naru Mono." The setting is a healing moment between Yuu-kun, a student living in the countryside, and his "onee-chan" Chiyoya-san. The divinity of Chiyoya-san peeking through her soft, dreamy atmosphere captures your heart. By the way, this work is a voice drama, not an ASMR work. ...Amazing, I was overwhelmed by the quality. First, I recommend listening to this work with headphones or earphones. You can experience a sense of presence as if the real Chiyoya-san were right in front of you. The leisurely summer scenery will naturally form in your mind. Even those purchasing a voice drama for the first time will surely be satisfied. What surprised me most is that even listening through all the tracks, there's no sense of discomfort—it flows seamlessly. Supervised by Patora Suou, it was a work of trustworthy, reassuring quality. I'm already eagerly waiting for the second ASMR installment. To enjoy the audio even more, please have "Ane naru Mono" on hand.
This is a voice work based on the manga "Ane naru Mono" by Iida Pochi. It depicts a summer scene between the higher being sister, Chiyoya, and her younger brother, Yuu-kun, through a voice drama. Only Chiyoya's voice is included; please note that this is not ASMR. This is a truly wonderful piece. The voice actress, Sayumi Suzushiro, expertly conveyed the kindness, innocence, bewitching charm, and slight fearsomeness that Chiyoya from "Ane naru Mono" possesses. This is a work that lets you feel the world of "Ane naru Mono" through your ears as well. If you like "Ane naru Mono," I highly recommend giving it a listen. Won't you feel Chiyoya onee-chan through your ears too?
This was a wonderful work that let me fully immerse myself in a summer night spent with Onee-chan!!! Thanks to the harmony between Sayumi Suzushiro's bewitching voice and the ambient sounds, I could experience an incredibly realistic summer, and no matter what season you listen in, it transports you to a summer night. I believe one of Chiyoya-san's charms is how, even while resembling a human, glimpses of her inhuman nature peek through in her words and actions. This work is structured to let you fully savor that charm of Chiyoya-san as a higher being, and I got a well-rounded dose of both "onee-chan" elements and "non-human" elements, which extended my lifespan. I heard an ASMR is also planned for release, and I'm really looking forward to that too. Iida Pochi-sensei and everyone involved in this work, thank you so much for such a wonderful piece.
Even though I watch Pochi-sensei's YouTube, I'm embarrassed to admit I had never actually read "Ane naru Mono." (←I can't admit I bought it and never read it... hah!) But this voice drama made me want to start reading it all at once, so I bought it right before the discount ended. Man, this is really great. Really, truly. Just being able to read the doujinshi from now on with Suzushiro-san's voice in my head would already be worth it, but what is this level of completion? Cheap, cheap, cheap—if it weren't for me, I'd have missed this. There's still so much more I want to write, but with the feeling of wanting to dive into the doujinshi soon, and the wish that whoever's reading this review gives it a listen too, I'll leave it at that.
Since it's a voice drama of "Ane naru Mono," I got curious and bought it. The moment I heard Sayumi Suzushiro's first line as Chiyoya-nee, I thought, "ah, I'm falling for this"—such a gentle, bewitching voice. There's a scene where her nonhuman side shows through in the flow of the story, and the shift from that back to her usual voice sends chills down your spine. Throughout the whole thing, it was the best kind of healing time, like slowly sinking into Onee-chan's embrace... It made me want to keep listening to more works like this in the future.
