This is a story where you get to spend time with five sisters, each with a different type, in this seaside setting. Each of them has her own distinct traits, and it feels like a nice twist on the work it seems to be paying homage to (?). They're all adorable and wonderful! Maybe because of the strong sea imagery, the overall atmosphere is calm and relaxed, which made it feel great as a companion for peaceful sleep too. Since it's a set of five sisters, I did wish there were a bit more scenes of everyone being lively together, though I suppose having multiple people at once is difficult... (probably due to voice actor costs). That's the one part I wished had gone just a bit further. Overall, the atmosphere was very much to my taste.
As the listener, you're acquainted with all of the sisters, and each of them has feelings for you. It's a curious relationship — you happened to meet, and the bond has continued ever since. Since the other sisters come up in conversation, you get to imagine the relationships between them, which is enjoyable. Things like a beach date or ear cleaning are done by every one of them, and it's very soothing. Each of them enjoys the sea in her own way, and with memories from the past woven in, the way each one quietly and deeply reveals her inner self feels precious in all of them (*^^*)
This is the complete pack of the "Sea Sisters" series. I first learned about "Sea Sisters" on a certain video streaming site, where I listened to a long left-ear-only trial version. I thought it was great, so since I was already at it, I decided to get the complete pack! Being sisters, I could feel some similarities among them, but each of the five has a different type, and each heals you in her own way! I wonder how this relationship will turn out... it makes me want to selfishly wish that time could just stop right here!
