I Want to Drift Off to Sleep, Thoroughly Adored by a Human-Obsessed Higher Being!!

I'll also touch on information for those who like Candle Man but aren't interested in all-ages works. Because it uses so-called ASMR-style, close-distance everyday sounds, the sense of distance between the sound and voice is fairly sensitive for this character despite being a sleep-aid voice work. There's a mechanism built in for devoted followers. The words spoken while your thinking ability is gone during play overlap with past works. I suspect even those who want to be verbally abused might not find this exactly their ideal, but would still find it enjoyable enough to like.

Since this was a combination of a circle I like and Akino Kaede, one of my favorite voice actresses, I pre-ordered it while looking forward to it. While enjoying Akino's voice and the pleasant sounds, before I knew it, it was morning. My sleep is usually shallow and I always wake up tired, but this time I was able to wake up without feeling fatigue. I'm happy to have slept so well, but since I also want to enjoy the scenario and Akino Kaede's performance, next time I'll try a bit harder to stay awake longer (lol).

This wasn't suited for me — the voice actress is Akino Kaede. So, well... I'm always indebted to her in adult works. That's the reason. It's a sleep-inducing work, but hearing her voice gets my brain excited instead, I'm defeated. That said, here's my impression after listening all the way through while being lulled into sleep. It's the usual feel of enjoying sounds while being whispered to near your ear as you're induced into sleep. It's relatively easy to listen to, no noisiness or anything. The whispering is mostly right by your ear; this voice actress's low, quiet voice is rather rare for this kind of work. The content also has her whispering while fiddling with your ears, talking all the way to the end. I think it's good for sleep purposes.

There are many works combining ASMR and hypnosis, but this one adds its own unique flavor with the "higher being" setting. The audio has a pleasant sense of distance thanks to binaural recording, and being enveloped in whispers and breaths gives the illusion of being spoken to directly right by your ear. The hypnotic induction is also gentle and careful, and the flow of being melted into drowsiness is very smooth. As your consciousness grows hazy and fades, the feeling of "being doted upon" turns into a pleasant sense of security, and I naturally fell asleep. Although the non-human element is strong, there's no fear or eeriness — rather, the sense of security from being embraced by an "absolute guardian" comes to the forefront. I'd recommend this to anyone seeking a voice work that balances healing and trance.

It's an unusual expression, "higher being," but it's close to something like a goddess or an angel, and the one-on-one situation with such a higher being is really wonderful. I highly recommend this work for when you want to take a breather!
