Azur Lane ASMR: Operation Heal the Commander! – Does Big Brother Dream of Being Healed by Unicorn?

In Azur Lane, a game full of sexy older sisters where the "onee-san" characters tend to be especially popular, Unicorn, the little sister everyone loves, now appears in ASMR form. We already know from the game that Unicorn's voice is cute. But it's only in this ASMR work that you can experience the closeness of whispers and breaths right next to your ear, close enough to make your heart skip a beat. (If she whispered in your ear like that in the actual game, you wouldn't be able to focus on playing at all.) The put-to-sleep part is also very substantial in volume, so I imagine a lot of Commanders will drift off happily with such careful lulling to sleep. So with that said, everyone should buy this!

Also, from 20:36 onward there's an absolutely outrageous invitation, so be prepared. "The embarrassing kind that makes you happy"—such incredibly powerful innocent words.... Unicorn tries hard to pamper her big brother by cleaning his ears, and in return he pets her head, creating an endless loop of mutual pampering that won't stop me from grinning. There's also dialogue that makes use of past costume-change episodes, and I could really feel the bond between brother and sister built up over five years. It's also nice how you can sense, through bits of conversation, her interactions with her Illustrious-class sisters. Unicorn, you're staring at me the whole time from my lap... whoa, they're huge... let's also sleep together under a futon that smells like sunshine... shhh.... You can use my arm as a hugging pillow, okay... ohh, so soft

Let me get to the conclusion first. Personally, as ASMR, it was a bit lacking. With this work, I got so absorbed in listening that I couldn't fall asleep. Before I knew it, two hours had passed. I'm going to be wrecked tomorrow from lack of sleep. However, as an audio drama, it was really good. The voice is great, and the sound quality has no issues either. A perfect score. If you want to be called "onii-chan, onii-chan" over and over in a cute voice, you should definitely buy this. The person writing this review is getting sleepy now. Good night.

I writhed in agony from Ai Kakuma's brain-melting voice and fell asleep, got my ears gently massaged and fell asleep again! She works hard to try to heal her big brother (you), and when she feels she can't manage it alone, she consults with the other Royal girls. Just by listening to this work, you can tell Unicorn is a hard-working good girl. Though a bit clumsy with her words, she's earnest, and her feeling of wanting her big brother to relax really comes through. One thing that stood out to me is that this work seemed to rely more on game knowledge than previous ones. There were a lot of parts that felt like they assumed familiarity with the game, such as references to other Royal-class girls and outfits. Anyway, one last word. Victorious, good job!! I knew you had it in you!!

I started listening with no prior information, and I was surprised when they started taking a bath together right away. Of course, from start to finish it's perfectly wholesome, so it's safe and sound. It's nice to see she gets along well with the other KANSEN at the home port too. Fleet carriers are called "onee-chan," but she calls Perseus "Perseus-chan." So cute. She also talks about the time of the Star Diva event, and you can really feel the days she's spent with Unicorn—it's really nice.

When I heard that Unicorn-chan's ASMR was being released, I thought, "If this is going to interfere with my sleep, I guess I'll just have to be prepared for it," but wow... I was moved by just how deeply satisfying it was... Honestly, falling asleep was never supposed to be an option in my ASMR life, but this ASMR has such an overwhelming amount of information that it can barely even be called just "sound" anymore—I took a full-on hit of healing, and this time I slipped up a bit and ended up falling asleep. "There's still more situations to come!" The tracks kept coming one after another, each packed with rich content, and the healing took over my brain as my cheeks loosened into a smile. I'd say this is a 100% embodiment of what ASMR is meant to be. Thank you, Unicorn-chan!!

The subtle breathing you can hear is, as always, impressive throughout the series. The sense of security from knowing she's right there beside you probably amplifies the healing power even more. The 2nd and 3rd installments of Season 2 have also been announced, so I'm already looking forward to them. The game itself is also turning 5 years old, and since this girl is also incredibly capable, if there are any big brothers out there who haven't played the game but came to like her after listening to this, why not try playing with Unicorn once? Cute and well-performing. Unstoppable, really.
