Shiori, a gentle university junior, welcomes you back and spends unhurried time together—cleaning your ears, patting your head, and finally drifting off to sleep right beside you. Soft sounds of a tabletop fountain and ocean waves accompany an intimate visit that moves from sheltering from rain indoors to a seaside afternoon and into bed.
"Well, actually... this kouhai could give you a lap pillow this time. ...It's a little embarrassing, though." You'll spend a slow, healing time together with your junior, college student "Shiori Misaki," voiced by Reina Ueda. This time the character was a junior college student named "Shiori," and just listening to her voice already gave off such a relaxing atmosphere that I thought I might fall asleep right away. There have been plenty of healing-focused characters before, but with "Shiori" I got an impression of purity combined with a nurturing warmth. Because of that, just listening absentmindedly made my eyelids grow heavier and heavier, and I felt like I could spend a purely comfortable time. The moment I heard the sample, I was personally convinced I'd be healed by it, so I decided to just let myself go with the flow and listen at a leisurely pace. Regarding the contents (partial) In the "Opening," the instant I heard Shiori's first words, I was practically satisfied just by her voice alone, thinking "ahh, this is such a healing atmosphere." (So easy to please...) In "Pats Until You Fall Asleep," just having her worry about how tired I was already warmed my heart, but once she actually started petting me, it was so comfortable that I could have fallen asleep at any moment. In "Healing from the Sound of a Tabletop Fountain," you basically listen to the conversation while paying attention to Shiori's comforting voice, relaxing as you listen to the sound of a tabletop fountain. In "Shiori's Ear Cleaning," having your ears cleaned while listening to Shiori's voice and breathing right by your ear felt so purely good that when I listened to it right after waking up, it made me want to go right back to sleep. In "Sleeping Together with Shiori," if you let yourself go with the sound, before you know it you're sleeping together with Shiori, so you can just space out and let the flow carry you. In the "Epilogue," why not just drift off to sleep together as is.
She seems like a quiet, reserved character, but she expresses her affection very actively, both in words and actions. In particular, you get to hear whispers from Reina Ueda that you can't hear in anime roles, and it makes me so happy!! It's structured in 3 parts — the protagonist's room, Shiori's room, and the off-season beach — with short breaks in between, so it's easy to listen to even for people without much free time, which I think is great! Of course, even listening straight through doesn't feel tedious at all, and on top of the healing effect already built into Reina Ueda's voice, the environmental sounds like rain, a tabletop fountain, and waves are also used really effectively. It's a great work that you can enjoy not just by squirming and thinking "oh man, she's too cute," but also as something you can properly use to help you sleep! The only thing that bothered me was that while Shiori was sitting in the corner of the room out of consideration for the exhausted-looking protagonist, I found myself thinking, "What was the protagonist doing this whole time?!" But after that Shiori was cute in all sorts of ways, so it's fine lol
In the past, with works that put ASMR front and center, I'd sometimes find that partway through, the sound became the main focus, leaving me feeling unsatisfied when viewing it as an audio drama, so I had a bit of worry going in. But in this work, the balance between narration and sound was excellent, and I was able to listen all the way through without losing interest. There are a lot of water-related sounds, like rain, a tabletop fountain, and waves, but the volume balance is neither too loud nor too soft, which feels very pleasant. Reina Ueda's acting was also wonderful — on top of being healing, you could really feel the sense of distance and her every small movement, and combined with the environmental sounds, it felt like the scenery was vividly coming to mind. I listened to the sample and decided to buy it immediately, and it turned out to be a thoroughly satisfying work.
This is a situational ASMR where a junior showers you with affection and pampers you endlessly. I bought it as a fan of Reina Ueda, and with plenty of dialogue, her whispers, breaths, and other elements that fans will love, it was an extremely satisfying work. The sense of presence is such that if you close your eyes, you can almost picture her face right beside you, right in front of you. Or rather, the distance between you feels close overall! It felt like her mouth was always right by my ear, which made me nervous. I want to listen for hours, but I wonder if my body can handle it... I'm looking forward to a sequel or a longer work.
When it comes to gentle, mild-mannered voice actresses, Reina Ueda is the one! In this work too, her soft, fluffy voice is so healing. The sound of the tabletop fountain, the ear cleaning, the sound of the waves — all of it makes you feel like you might doze off. To put it modestly, it's amazing! Of course, since she's one of my favorite voice actresses, I might be a bit biased... This is a work I'd recommend to anyone who likes gentle, soft-spoken voices, or anyone who's tired and wants to be healed!
As someone who loves Reina Ueda, I bought this pretty much just based on the voice actress alone. This ASMR too had such a wonderful voice that it was an incredibly healing work. The close-up petting was really great. If you like Ue-shama, you've probably already bought it, but I'd recommend getting it while it's on sale. I'm currently a college student, but my college life has been completely online. It made me want to cry, thinking about how wonderful my life from here on could have been if I had a junior like this. The way she'd come closer, then sit farther away, and in the end come back because she got lonely, was just so adorable. I plan to listen to it over and over, imagining having such a cute junior, and drift off to sleep feeling healed.
This is a story where you spend a sweet time together with Reina Ueda's character, the "gentle, mild-mannered junior college student" Shiori Misaki. Thank you all very much for coming. 《Point! Pick up》 ☆Tips☆ As keywords scattered throughout: : "Creating the mood of someone tired from work." : "A particular attention to the sound of water." There are others as well. ☆Event☆ ◎ You can spend a comfortable, leisurely time wrapped in her calm, gentle, relaxed atmosphere. The sense of presence is also overflowing — the distance, the just-right breathing by your ear — it really feels like she's close enough to make your heart race. ◇ There are also situations where you suddenly feel like being spoiled, and I think it's great to really let yourself be pampered when you're truly tired. She also seems skilled at sensing that subtle urge to be spoiled and indulging it. Leaning into her, you naturally feel the tension drain out of you, your eyelids grow heavy, and you feel like you could just doze off right there. ◯ You can also enjoy the sound of the tabletop fountain and feel healed by it — I didn't actually know what that sounded like before, so it was a good experience. It's like a "water sound series" (?)... rain, tabletop fountain, wave sounds, escalating step by step (?), all connected by water (?) — I like that... though that might just be my own arbitrary interpretation. There's also a moment where she herself says she likes the sound of water, so I really got to enjoy plenty of water sounds, which was nice. There's more to look forward to as well. Please do check it out in the main work! Thank you! "Good night ♪"
○ To start First, if you're a fan of voice actress Reina Ueda, just buy it without question. It's a rare masterpiece that really makes "CV: Reina Ueda" shine. Next, for those who aren't particularly fans... please read the following. ○ Points 【BGM】 The sound of rain, the fountain, ear cleaning, the sound of the sea — the BGM and situations that enhance the healing feel are neither too much nor too little. 【CV】 Voice actress Reina Ueda is active across many fields, but for a character like this — a junior who adores her senior with a voice as pleasant to the ear as ASMR, giving the listener a sense of bliss — she shows an outstanding compatibility. Though she's set up as a "junior," she isn't overly childish; within her gentle voice there's a faintly alluring air that seems to invite her senior closer, giving her a layered charm. Overall, the description "healing type" fits perfectly, and the sense of bliss is cranked up to the max. Just listening to how skillfully the character and the voice actress's performance mesh together — a display of real professional craft — is worth the price of admission alone. It really makes me appreciate all over again just how amazing voice actresses can be. 【Character】 The character here is exactly as you'd imagine (in a good way) just from glancing at the jacket illustration. A junior who adores you with a gentle voice, without ever being pushy, and treats her senior with consideration and care — she's the strongest. 【Story】 The broad gist is "a healing-type junior who adores her senior pampers you," but the true appeal of this work doesn't stop there. With each track, hints of affection that can't quite be hidden get slipped in amid the motherly healing. Catching glimpses of that affection through her smiles, whispers, and sleep-talking will make your cheeks loosen into a smile before you know it. 【Other】 The breaths during the ear cleaning, the whispers, the sleeping breaths, the sleep-talk — elements that aren't clear-cut lines of dialogue but are crucial in ASMR — are handled flawlessly, with great pacing and a sense of distance that makes you feel as if she's right there beside you. ○Summary No need to say more — just add it to your cart.
Another voice work by Reina Ueda that's causing a stir again. This is exactly the work you should buy right now. I'll say it plainly about this, the 5th installment in the "Shonioya!" series ASMR bedtime drama: this is the best one yet. First of all, as a baseline, the sound quality is better than previous works. The sense of distance and breathing really come through clearly. Also, just like previous works, the heroine looks after you quite a bit in this one too, but thanks to a scenario with well-paced tempo variation, you won't get bored at all. That's probably thanks to the skill of writer Taiga Nakajima, who has continued on from the previous work. He has a proven track record with numerous bishoujo games, so the situations are also perfectly crafted. And then there's Reina Ueda, who voices this work's heroine, Shiori. It's just too much. She frequently changes her tone and inflection depending on the scene. And yet there's absolutely no sense of unnaturalness in it—if anything, that's what makes it feel natural. You can enjoy a wide variety of Reina Ueda just from this one work alone. The value for money is extremely high. Also, she whispers a lot. She suddenly closes the distance, so it catches you off guard every single time. Her voice doesn't just reach your ears—it resonates directly in your heart. And she breathes on you so much, too. It gives you chills. She's brimming with service spirit and it's wonderful. Reina Ueda's voice work is hot right now. I'll say it again: this is a must-buy. You can enjoy it with just this one work alone, so don't miss out, get it while you can! And to the creators, I want to be spoiled even more, so just like with "Amae", please give us a sequel. Show us what you've got, Dengeki G's magazine!
I've bought every entry in this series, and I'm confident this one is the best among them, no question. What's improved, I think, is the sense of distance with the microphone? The targeted voice really comes through feeling close and vivid. Honestly, with corporate ASMR, this is often where things get a bit off because they're not quite used to it... but this one is truly wonderful. The ebb and flow of the voice—or maybe I should say the sense of near and far more precisely—the balance there is also very good. It's not always close, and it's not always far, but skillfully varied. So when it does get close, the voice really shines. The impact is tremendous. Of course Reina Ueda being great is a given, but since I personally love every voice actor in this series, I won't play favorites there. The situations are strong too. The compatibility between the voice and the situations is spot on. Honestly, the ambient sounds are pretty much just a bonus, and it might be better to think of it simply as voice-based ASMR. This was such a good work that it made me want to write a review for the first time in a while. I'll keep buying and supporting this series going forward, so please keep up the good work.
