[Kansai Dialect ASMR] UNLUCKY LOVE ~My Kansai Big Sister~ [Ear Cleaning / Massage / Lullaby / Sleeping Together]

Being pampered by a neighborhood "onee-chan" you haven't seen in a while — it's a fairly common situation for ASMR works. But this work is entirely in Kansai dialect. "A voice actress actually from Osaka" delivering a full-course ASMR experience entirely in Kansai dialect — that, I felt, is where its strength lies. I already liked Honoka Kuroki to begin with, so I bought it immediately. I'm writing this review while savoring the joy of a proper ASMR work by my favorite voice actress finally existing in this world. I figured if I listened lying down I'd fall asleep instantly and never make it to the end, so I went into my first listen wide awake. I was surprised at how happy I felt just from the "ear blowing" that I normally listen to half-mindlessly and find soothing in other voice works. During the track where she reminisces about the old days, I had the illusion that there really was a big sister like this in my neighborhood when I was little. Breathing together with her really clears your mind. I apologize for being quite biased since it's "a voice I love." Having a track dedicated to reminiscing changes the sense of immersion entirely. It's not just the ASMR elements — even the normal conversation parts cleanse the heart, which heightens the healing of the tracks that follow. Is it really okay to have this much of "everything I could want in ASMR" packed in? My gratitude just keeps overflowing. Her breathing while giving the massage is wonderful. It had been a while since I encountered a work with head massage and body massage, so the healing hit especially hard. My cheeks wouldn't stop loosening up. The fact that the body massage track was given proper time really made good use of the setting that she'd studied bodywork — it made a great impression. The finale is sleeping together side by side. And on top of that, focused entirely on breathing. Falling asleep listening to the breath of your favorite voice actress turns your futon into a luxury item in an instant. It feels like being a celebrity. Getting a life where you can always listen to and be close to a voice you love, for just a little over 1000 yen — what a blessed environment to have. Japan is wonderful. I'm glad I've lived to see this day. I can keep surviving from here on by listening to this. Immense gratitude.

The combination of "dialect" and "onee-san" is something you can never have too much of, and the fact that Honoka Kuroki was voicing her pushed me over the edge to buy it. The difference in vocal tone between when she whispers close to your ear and when she speaks face-to-face was a personal highlight for me. Even though there's no major change in her voice itself, her voice near the ear is soft and gentle, and combined with the ear-cleaning sounds it seeps in wetly — really good. Even in a whisper, her vocal characteristics really come through clearly, which impressed me. That's what I found myself thinking. Even the faint breaths and chewing sounds that slip out during the ear-cleaning and massage parts were pleasant to listen to. I was a little bothered that the ear-cleaning sound effects were somewhat subdued, but overall it was a very satisfying work. Thank you very much.

To state the conclusion first, it's simply good, plain and simple. Honoka Kuroki's Kansai dialect is quite strong, yet the ear-cleaning that focuses on healing holds its own against it, and her chatting, as if she were really right there talking to you, made me drowsy. She's a Kansai-dialect-speaking, somewhat scatterbrained older sister type who makes you worry about her, but from track 4 onward, in the reminiscing and massage tracks, I was wrapped in a sense of security, a kind of maternal warmth that made me want to naturally entrust myself to her. I myself have been suffering from insomnia, but when I fell asleep listening to this work, I drifted off before I even realized it — that's how effectively it lulled me to sleep. This may be a clumsy review, but I hope both fans of Honoka Kuroki and those who don't know her yet will read my review and consider buying this.

You get to hear plenty of Honoka Kuroki's authentic Kansai dialect. It's incredibly cute. I'm so envious that a cute onee-san like this could be nearby. Since she feels like a childhood friend, you get to experience the feeling of having Honoke as your childhood friend. From ear-cleaning to head and shoulder massages, Honoke does it all for you. It's incredibly luxurious. Honoke's pampering voice is so cute it's dangerous.

"Dialect" x "onee-chan" is a combination that tickles a man's heart. What was especially satisfying to listen to was the lullaby track. The situation of having a lullaby sung right by your ear only heightened the immersion further, and I couldn't stop grinning the whole time I listened. At the end there's even a track where you sleep side by side under the covers, making full use of the gentle onee-chan setting to an almost excessive degree. Just as there's a separate track dedicated to reminiscing about the past, there's clear attention paid to storytelling as well, giving it a high level of completeness as an ASMR work. I'd say it's about as good as it gets for obtaining healing. Very satisfied.

I bought this because it featured a voice actress from a work I've recently been enjoying. It was supposed to be a Kansai-dialect onee-san, but for better or worse, the dialect wasn't very strong. That said, even with the dialect, she doesn't come across as a particularly strong-willed character. The ear-cleaning sound effects weren't that loud, which felt a bit off at first, but I think that's also why her soft voice comes through even during the ear-cleaning parts, so it worked out fine.

Kuroki-san's voice provides healing throughout the entire work. She speaks gently to you, putting you in a mood where you just want to be pampered. However, I think this varies by person, but for me, the sound mixed in with the ear-cleaning that sounded like rubbing on faux leather, and some kind of low "groon" sound that came in periodically — whether it was background noise or ambient sound — grated on my ears and bothered me, which felt like a real shame.

Uh... let me tell you exactly what just happened to me: "I was only planning to listen to the sample, but before I knew it, I'd listened to the whole thing." Y-you probably don't know what I'm talking about, but I didn't know what I was doing either. My ears felt like they were about to go somewhere. A calming voice in Kansai dialect, a combo starting from shallow ear-cleaning and building to deep, and finally a lullaby that invites sleep. This is absolutely not some cheap thing you'd just call a "healing voice." I tasted a glimpse of something far more terrifying than that. Thank you for this wonderful ASMR.

An ASMR work featuring a dialect-speaking girl. It has situations like ear-cleaning and massage, running about 2 hours in total. However, the sleeping-together track alone takes up nearly 30 minutes, and considering the price of over 1500 yen, the content and volume feel a bit lacking, which inevitably gives an impression of being overpriced. That's exactly why I wish they had included more cooking sounds and everyday life sounds during the early slice-of-life segments.
