Her whispers—her natural voice— The persimmons—the illustrations— The free talk—even the tears that spill—it's all hot. Even the ear-blowing is hot. Koinoneko Chiroru is a hot woman. Well, I went and paid it. 2000 yen. The last time I listened to her work was the one with Take and Takumi's ear cleaning, but without my noticing, she'd undergone some tremendous evolution. My ASMR fever had been cooling off, but this has become my heavy rotation after a long while. Ah, but is a review this incoherent even okay— such doubts feel like they'll be forgotten the moment I drift off to sleep. But let me say this much at the end. Koinoneko Chiroru, this voice actress, is tremendously hot.

I've been listening to ear-cleaning audio for about 10 years now (regardless of whether there's a voice or not), and as of 2021, this is a work I can recommend without hesitation. I believe that whether the sound is realistic or not matters less than whether it feels good to listen to — that's what counts. As emphasized in the product description, this work is about scratching deep into the ear with a scritchy-scratchy motion, not scraping the surface of the ear. It's a sound you'd rarely encounter in reality, but since this is a fictional ear-cleaning sound, that's perfectly fine. For the reason stated above, you'll probably get more immersed using canal-type earphones rather than headphones. Recommended for those seeking both stimulation and healing. In the work before the previous one, the seams between audio clips bothered me (the sound itself was good though...), but starting from the previous work, there's been no such issue.

They advertised it as being thoroughly dedicated to the scritchy-scratchy sound, and it truly lives up to that. That said, it's not scritchy-scratchy the whole way through — they also mix in just the right amount of the brisk sound of cotton swabs and the fluffy sound of the fluffy brush, so it never gets boring. Both voiced and voiceless versions are included, so I'd recommend it even to those who just want to enjoy the ear-cleaning sounds alone. Though the dialect felt a bit too thick (?) at times, which made me slightly hesitant. But since there's also a standard-Japanese version without the dialect, I have no complaints on that front. The price is a bit steep, but you should be able to enjoy more than what you pay for. First listen to the sample, and if it gives you chills, go ahead and buy it.

I was satisfied just listening to the previous work over and over... but this one surprised me. The claim of being "the strongest" wasn't false advertising — if you like the scritchy-scratchy sound deep in the ear, I highly recommend this. When I clean my own ears, I go until I hear that gritty sound deep inside, and I felt this work produced a sound that was quite close to that. This time there's also a bonus where she talks about her feelings toward the work while cleaning your ears, and it's amazing. I've come to love being talked to while having my ears cleaned. Looks like I won't need to visit the ENT for a while.

At the beginning, she talks passionately about her feelings for the work, and I felt that this is truly a creator who does what she wants to do, creates the works she wants to create, and is highly praised for it. Listening to this ear-cleaning sound, you can tell it's not just talk — there's genuine dedication behind it. It's over 6 hours long (actually close to 7 hours), but it's the kind of work where you can keep listening to nothing but the ear-cleaning sound the whole time and still feel comfortable throughout. For those who've listened extensively to other ASMR works, you'll understand that this sound falls into the "difficult" category — even a slight mistake can make it come across as, well, not literally painful, but something you'd describe as "my ears hurt," and in any case, it ends up far removed from a pleasant listening experience. In other words, it's extremely difficult to craft a pleasant sound and sustain it over a long period. And yet, this work is a monster that managed to craft a "pleasant sound" over an extended duration. There's not a trace of ear discomfort at all. The "staples" like the fluffy brush are also properly included, and every one of them is high quality. It's no exaggeration to call the finished product top-tier quality. The price is steep, but the quality is good enough to make you think "I'll buy the next one too." I want to recommend this. ▼Bad points I had no complaints whatsoever regarding the "sound." However, I felt slightly off about the direction of Track 2, "1. Voiced_Dialect Girlfriend..." It felt less like a girlfriend character and more like the creator herself speaking, which was a different direction from the previous work, so it threw me off a bit. It gave the impression of being not much different from the bonus content — like a toned-down version of the bonus. This is something that varies from person to person, so I can't flatly call it a "bad point," but speaking from an extremely personal perspective, I preferred the direction of the previous work. P.S. This isn't a bad point per se, but I was a bit sad that Track 4, "3. Voiced_Breath only..." didn't have an ear-blowing segment. Personally, I would have wanted it. ▼Summary They managed to craft an extremely difficult category of sound into something pleasant to listen to over a long duration, and I felt this ranks among the top in terms of overall completeness among the many ASMR works out there. I used to occasionally watch Koinoneko Chiroru's YouTube channel, but I only found out later that she sells voice works on DLsite. The title doesn't lie — this is an ASMR specialized in the sound of your ears being scratched with strong, scritchy-scratchy sound pressure. This sound is the best. It's right at that sweet spot between the sound you'd actually hear from real ear cleaning and a sound pursuing fictional pleasure! They've even prepared a continuous file for falling asleep to — they really think of everything. My personal favorite is Track 1; the dialect-speaking, slightly food-loving girlfriend is really cute.

Realistic-style ear-cleaning sounds are great in their own way, but I simply love this scritchy-scratchy type of sound because it just feels good. Of course, since it's nothing but scritchy-scratchy sound, it might be aimed somewhat at ear-cleaning enthusiasts. There are various people doing ear-cleaning streams on YouTube and elsewhere, but I don't think anyone can produce sound of this quality. Personally, I'm the type who enjoys it almost to the point of pain, so this work was extremely satisfying.
