Perfect for anyone who wants to drift off to a gentle railway soundscape narrated by a caring, doll-like companion voiced by Sumire Uesaka.

Set along the fictional Yorozuoka railway, Suzushiro—a doll-like railway module—gently guides you through soothing soundscapes, from steam locomotive rumbles to a relaxed off-duty day together. This is the 12th tie-in voice work for the TV anime "Rail Romanesque," with Suzushiro voiced by Sumire Uesaka. Expect ear cleaning, whispers, and environmental sound journeys designed purely for comfort and companionship.

Hinomoto—a country where most of its railways have been lost to the Great Railway Abolition. And yet, here and there across the land, railway operators continue to resist the tide of closures, scattered but persistent. To showcase the appeal of each of these railway companies and their lines through the lens of sound, a project called "Phonograph Rail" was launched, sponsored by a major newspaper company. Taking on the important task of seeking out and introducing these sounds are the "Railroad" dolls/doll-type modules that normally support the operational control of the trains running on each line. Suzushiro, the dedicated Railroad of Mannoka Railway's C12 67 and also known as a genius actress, successfully fulfilled her important role as emcee at the Railroad Summit and has now returned home to Mannoka. Waiting for her there is a request from "Phonograph Rail"—a search for sounds in her hometown of Mannoka. ■ "There are so many wonderful things along the line... but you know, Master, Manager. The sound of this girl performing together with you—the sound of the steam engine. The sound of C12 67 racing along—the running sound itself. Suzushiro thinks that's the finest soundscape along the whole line." Having served as emcee for the First Railroad Summit at Goichiya—a heavy responsibility that made even the genius actress Suzushiro break into a cold sweat more than once—she may have grown up, if only a little, on the inside. Her true feelings, ones she could never have spoken aloud without the mask of "a role given to her." After discussing it with you, her Master and Manager, Suzushiro proposes introducing "the sound of the steam locomotive itself" as the greatest soundscape along the line. The draft sound and blast sound produced by a living steam locomotive, the sound of water rushing in during watering, the crackling and popping of coal in the firebox. After her duties, enjoy some shaved ice at Shigeki Station. On the way back, relax swaying gently in the passenger car, then enjoy "charcoal-grilled coal" and boating fun at the after-party barbecue. Her sharp, focused profile while on duty, and her completely relaxed off-duty self—the true face she shows only to you.
