I saw the words "virtual telework" and got curious about what kind of work this would be, so I bought it. As for the content, it was as described in the summary, focusing on casual everyday conversation. (I usually listen to works that include some kind of "healing/relaxing" element like ear cleaning or massage, but listening to this conversation-focused work, I found myself feeling warm and cozy from the pauses in the conversation and the pacing of the speech.) Also, due to the scenario setting, since it's a conversation with her, it really felt like listening in on casual chit-chat, and just as the summary said, it was content you could "listen to at an appropriate level of background attention." (I can't quite express this well, but my image of conversation in voice works and ASMR works was something like "pretty conversation? conversation you don't hear in everyday life?" so I thought that in this work, you could enjoy something more like "casual conversation, conversation with a real, down-to-earth feel.") Also, after finishing listening to the work, I ended up wondering what "virtual telework" actually meant... but when I reread the summary again, I found the phrase "as a companion for telework," and I convinced myself all on my own that it was the listener (me) who was doing the "telework"... This time it's a remote work call. There's no continuity with the previous work. The sound of keyboard typing, the fizzy sound of carbonated water... It's an ASMR work where you can imagine the situation. With the same warm, laid-back conversation content as always, I once again truly felt the preciousness of casual, everyday conversation. First, for my first time through, I tried listening with my eyes closed. Tracks 1 through 3 were deliberately in stereo rather than binaural audio, so the impact when it switched to binaural audio in the final track 4 was insane. I felt even more strongly the "joy and emotion of finally being able to meet her." It was also nice that there were cool, refreshing sounds perfect for the summer season, like the sound of carbonation and the sound of ice being stirred in a glass. The sweet voice of the girl played by Ichinose Rito was the best. I really love the way her tone rises at the end of sentences. So cute.
