Hoi Mimi Musume Vol. 1: A Hometown Summer with Natsuki (Binaural Recording)

The hugely popular voice actress Himukai Kiyuka has released an all-ages work featuring an older childhood friend! Honestly though, I did have some worries. I'm sorry to say this to Emoidou, but... a Kiyuka-san work about going back to your hometown and spending summer with your older childhood friend... I'd actually heard an R18 work with the exact same setting from a different circle before. So honestly I was thinking "this is probably going to overlap with that one" and wasn't expecting much lol Conclusion: once I bought it and actually listened, it was completely different from the very start! As expected of Kiyuka-san, who's played so many different roles. The onee-san in this work, despite being all-ages, felt sweeter and more composed and mature than any other onee-san I've heard! This might be the first heroine like this. Another point I'd recommend: the onee-san written by the scriptwriter and the onee-san performed by Kiyuka-san matched incredibly well, resulting in someone who, despite being all-ages, has a bit of a mischievous charm while still feeling like she'll embrace you completely! Since it's all-ages, there's no ear licking or sexual acts, but the scene where you take a bath together... My brain just melted without meaning to. The ambient sound felt more realistic, and Kiyuka-san's performance came together into an onee-san who feels so close to you... Honestly, I almost became one of those pathetic adults who thinks "if I just bribe her, maybe onee-chan and I could go further..." (>人<;)← Trying to solve everything with money, haha. And the scene where you sleep together — that was something else! The onee-san voiced by Kiyuka-san has her sleeping breath come through so directly... ah, it's just so dear to me, such happiness! This is perfect for anyone who wants to be healed! Kiyukanyan's onee-san voice and the calm voice for the mom role really are ideal companions for a peaceful sleep! My favorite voice among all voice actresses!! I love it, I love it!! Emoidou-sama, Kiyukanyan, thank you as always for such a wonderful work!! I'm sure you're pushing yourselves hard despite being busy, but please take care of your health while you keep working. The temperature swings have been crazy lately, I really wish it would just pick either cold or hot already. I'll keep supporting you from here on too!

This is about spending sweet moments together with 'Kurashina Natsuki' from [Hoi Mimiko Vol. 1: Summer in the Hometown Spent with Natsuki], voiced by Himukai Kiyuka-san. Prologue! An ordinary day... right in the middle of summer, the protagonist comes back home for a visit. There, the protagonist is called out to by 'Natsuki'... though actually, she turns out to be a relative, an older girl who looked after him back when he lived there. The protagonist left home to go to school in another region, and she herself seems to have gotten a job and is now working. 'Natsuki'... "It was hot out, wasn't it? If you don't mind, want to come over to my place? And... I'd love to hear about how things have been since you moved away too." She smiles warmly as she says this. And so, time with her starts moving again... The rest is something to enjoy after you purchase it ♪ And so begins these sweet, sweet days spent with 'Natsuki'... Point! 《Pick up》 ☆Introduction☆ 'Natsuki': Working adult. A relative, an older sister figure to the protagonist. Gives the impression of being kind-hearted, but perhaps trying a bit too hard to act mature. Setting: Hometown, her house, the bathroom, the bedroom. Sound: Cicadas and insect sounds, footsteps on dirt, wind, crowd noise, wind chimes, ice sounds, the sound of soaking in the bath, sliding doors opening and closing, the rustle of clothes and sheets — these are all highlights to listen for. One keyword to pay attention to is "opening up about each other's worries." ☆Event☆ The sounds that evoke summer were really great! On top of that, with the rural concept, I was able to feel both a kind of nostalgia and relaxation at the same time. Opening up about your worries... that's not something easy to do, is it. But mustering up the courage to say it anyway... you can only do that because you trust the other person. That's the feeling I got. And this part had me nearly crying along with them, honestly (tears). The moments where she shows a slightly bold side now and then were the kind of situation that made my heart skip a beat, and I almost fell for her, haha. There's more beyond that too... please do go find it for yourself ♪

Overall, it was a work where the onee-san is so cute and kind that it made even me feel gentler. She has a big bust but somehow doesn't come off as just "bimbo-ish" (not sure why) (difference in values, I guess). But if there's one thing I can say, it's that a hardworking big-breasted onee-san is simply the best.

I only recently discovered Emoidou's works, and I ended up falling even deeper into the audio-work rabbit hole because of it... In this work, there's ear cleaning that makes great use of binaural recording, and conversation scenes while getting a lap pillow, among other things — but in the end, it all comes down to being endlessly soothed by Natsuki onee-chan. But that's not all there is to it. After all, this is Emoidou. From the intro scene and the trial version, you obviously can't tell what happens in the second half, so I really want people to buy the full version and listen to it themselves. This was the first time I bought an Emoidou work on release day, and listening to it gave me the happiest sleep experience I've had since the new era name began. Thank you for that. It's a situation of reuniting after a long time, but her affection for you already starts at the highest possible level. As for reaching the next step further, I have a bit of a cynical theory of my own that it's probably just a matter of the protagonist's age... A sequel... of course I'm looking forward to it... I won't be able to resist listening to it.

This is the first time I've ever empathized this much with a character in an audio work. You spend a time overflowing with comfort with Natsuki onee-chan, a girl from your hometown you're reuniting with after a long time, as if recalling the old days together. The calm sounds of rural nature and Natsuki's voice left my heart feeling very at peace. The conversations felt so realistic that I got drawn even deeper into the work. Since I'd been thinking all along, while listening, that this was a work overflowing with healing right up to the end, I was genuinely surprised by the final track. It made my chest tighten, but I think it's precisely because of that feeling Natsuki was carrying that all the conversation before it gained even more depth. I almost even teared up while listening. The very well-crafted script and Himukai Kiyuka-san's convincing performance create a wonderful synergy, making this a truly splendid work. Thank you for this supreme healing experience. May happiness be with Natsuki onee-chan's future!

With the noisy cicadas crying out at the very start, I could really feel "I've come back from the city to the place where she is," and it drew me right in. Since I listened half-drowsy and have only been able to go through it once, I can't say much in depth yet, but my first impression is that it made me feel at ease. Her reaction when switching to the other ear, how she tells you straight out what impression you give her — there are points like these that are exactly my type, so yeah, I love it!

A story where you go back to the countryside after a long time and end up being thoroughly looked after by a kind onee-san! I got to fully savor a world that has that extraordinary feel of a countryside summer while also feeling completely at ease! With the cicadas crying, the sound of footsteps on the dirt, the chime of wind bells stirring up images of summer, and getting ear cleaning while resting on the lap of a caring old childhood friend — it was the classic path to healing, and I found myself drowsing off before I knew it! The onee-san keeps such a close distance and is so caring that it's hard to tell if it's just her nature or actual romantic feelings, and that ambiguity kept my heart racing while I got to make some fun summer memories through this work!

I won't say what exactly, but you sure have something quite impressive there. Emoidou has mostly released lewd audio works up until now, but this time it's a wholesome, all-ages work. She has a pure-looking appearance with long black hair and a voice that sounds exactly like a kind onee-san... though I won't say where, but there is one part that asserts itself very strongly. As for the content, it's about going back home and reuniting with a relative onee-san, getting a lap pillow along with ear cleaning and conversation, taking a bath together, sleeping side by side, and so on. Since it's a summer story, in some tracks the insect sounds assert themselves quite a lot — you can clearly hear what sounds like cicadas during the day and bell crickets (suzumushi) at night? By the time I'm writing this it's already gotten cooler, but since it's been hot lately, this might be a good way to get an early taste of summer.

A healing work where the story unfolds as you reunite with your childhood-friend onee-san in the countryside. The first half is about reuniting with onee-san, reminiscing about old times, and being healed by ear cleaning. Considering onee-san's age, she's at that point where she's become a bit more grown-up, so there's a faint sensuality lingering about her. So even though it's rated for all ages and nothing lewd happens at all, just listening to it makes me tense up. And yet, it's strangely healing. The second half is the nighttime healing part. Tracks 5 and 6 were good, with onee-san's bashfulness being cute and the conversation between the protagonist and onee-san being delightfully awkward. And then there's track 7. I felt this was where the emotional core of the work was concentrated. This work is thoroughly focused on healing, and it's structured so you can experience the sensation of being healed in real time, as it's happening — which I think is what gave it that emotional impact. Painful things. Feelings you can't do anything about surface, become clear, and are eventually enveloped and dispersed by the gentleness of someone you love. Gradually, the pain dissolves into the summer night air. The pain that had been weighing on my chest had blurred my perspective until then. But through that healing, things come back into focus. And so the night ends, and a refreshing morning arrives. A truly emotionally moving healing work. Hyuga Aoi-san's natural, unforced performance in track 7, along with her "dere" acting and her healing tone of voice, were all wonderful, I think. Highly recommended.
