This is a voice work about a listener who goes to a place called "Holiday House" and receives all kinds of healing. It goes beyond ear cleaning, the classic symbol of healing, and lets you enjoy things like taking a bath together or going for a walk. Most ear-cleaning voice works are structured as ear cleaning or massage with a bit of voice acting added, so it's nice that this one has a proper story. Thanks to that, the characters come across as more charming too. The quality of the ambient sounds and ear-cleaning sounds is, as expected, excellent from Tomimian. They keep evolving with each work, and this one too provided an even higher quality of healing than the previous one. And above all, for around 200 yen, you get a huge volume of over 2 hours. And it's not padded out unnecessarily just to reach that length — it's a solid, content-packed 2 hours. If you've been having trouble falling asleep lately, or find yourself thinking about unpleasant things before bed, please try buying this and using it as a substitute for sleep medication. It works better than you'd expect, and you'll drift off smoothly.
The story, characters, and sound are all top quality. Not only does it heal you while you're listening, but your own ability to heal yourself afterward recovers too. Let's really savor our food. Let's listen closely to the sound of the wind and insects. Let's go out for a walk. This is a work that makes you want to cherish the small things that get neglected when life gets busy. You might feel your heart tugged at the end of this one, but don't worry — the continuation has already been released (so you can rest easy).
Invited by a postcard that arrived out of nowhere, I head to Holiday House. It's a trilogy, but this first installment leans heavily into the healing elements. I spend a holiday with Hinata-chan, the cheerful and kind staff member at Holiday House. She takes such careful, attentive care of me, and she's just so cute. I could die from the cuteness (・ω・) Tomimian's work isn't just about the main voice track or the ear-cleaning sounds — the ambient background sounds are also extremely high quality, giving it an incredible sense of presence. As mentioned, it's a trilogy, so if you like this one, I recommend going on to buy the next two as well. I want to go to Holiday House... where do I even go?
This is a wonderful work packed full of sweet healing. It's about traveling to an unfamiliar place based on a letter you received, spending a holiday there, and being lovingly taken care of by Azuchi Hinata, voiced by Yui Asami. It starts with an encounter at the station and heading to the inn, and right from the start, the sound of footsteps on the ground and gravel path feels wonderful. From the sound of a door opening, echoing voices, cooking sounds, a babbling river, to the sound of wind — the ambient sound is perfect and the sense of presence is irresistible. During the bath and ear-cleaning parts, if you close your eyes, you'll feel like it's really happening to you, and the pleasant feeling is so relaxing you're sure to just fall asleep right there! Yui Asami's performance is also wonderful — incredibly cute, and you're bound to squirm at how endearing she is. The story, while set in a non-everyday situation, still gives a warm, everyday feeling, and even though there are some bittersweet moments, it ends on a hopeful note with "see you again," which leaves a very good impression. The bonus content will make you squirm even more. The illustrations are also lovely — a beautiful woman in a kimono is a great choice, and the SD illustrations of her eating with her energetic ahoge sticking up, or her shyly joining you in the bath, are irresistible! And despite having a total volume of 130 minutes, it's priced as always at Tomimian's special low price of 200 yen — incredibly cheap. For those seeking healing, or those who listened to the trial version and became interested, I can say with confidence this is a work you absolutely won't regret!
I always find myself thinking, is Tomimian really going to be okay... charging this price. There's massage, ear cleaning, and various other things included, all done in binaural sound (honestly I don't fully understand how it works), and every bit of it feels pleasant. As expected from a circle that puts so much effort into sound. Among them, the one that surprisingly stood out was the ○○ sound. I've never heard anything like it elsewhere, and beyond just feeling good, it's genuinely healing. Please listen with headphones, close your eyes, and focus on the sound. If possible, somewhere with no one else around. Combined with Yui Asami's voice, I couldn't stop grinning, to the point it felt a bit embarrassing. This time, on top of the "sound," the story is also quite elaborate. As mentioned above, after the grinning comes a straight punch to the gut — but this time it hits your eyes, not your ears. Be careful. It made me want to go to Holiday House once again.
This is the first installment of the Holiday House series. It's a work where you can enjoy a special yet everyday holiday spent with the staff member(?) at Holiday House. Unlike typical ear-cleaning voice works, it also includes audio tracks other than ear cleaning, such as going for a walk, taking a bath, and enjoying a meal. This really gives it that holiday feel, and it's great!
Tomimi-san's works are well known for having extremely high cost performance relative to their quality. This particular work runs about 120 minutes, yet costs only 216 yen. At standard pricing it would likely be around 700 to 1000 yen, so you can really see how cheap this is. And the quality itself is excellent too — Yui Asami's beautiful voice and natural acting, along with not just the ear-cleaning sounds but also the cooking sounds, hair-washing sounds, and every other sound effect, are all incredibly high quality. It's a wonderful work where every element comes together at a high level. If you've gotten interested in ear-cleaning voice works through free samples and are thinking about buying something, I'd definitely recommend picking up one of Tomimian's works first.
This is a voice work about spending a relaxing time at a place called Holiday House, receiving all kinds of healing treatments from a cute girl. As you'll understand if you listen to even a bit of the trial version, the completion level of each individual sound is incredible. Even the mundane sound of just walking sounds wonderful. If you're thinking "what's the big deal, it's just sound..." — please, just give the trial version a quick listen. A new door will open for you.
The first thing I thought was, this price is way too cheap! You can realistically experience things like walks, ear cleaning, and even baths in binaural sound. The voice actress's voice is also very gentle, and it's a work that heals you to an almost overwhelming degree! Highly recommended!
This was a work packed full of healing, a little escape from everyday life. With the walks and naps, I kept falling asleep over and over, making it hard to get through the whole thing lol The ear cleaning in particular was just plain pleasant. Being whispered to gently, I got to spend a comfortable, happy time. I think this is a work I'd really love for anyone wanting to feel healed to listen to.
