Hot Spring Getaway with My First Love — Your Clingy Girlfriend Wants to Spoil You [Kisses, Ear Cleaning, Breathing, Co-Sleeping]

The title and the jacket art already grab your heart. ...The weight carried by the words "first love," against the gap with the warmth of everyday life — that's what's so good. Each and every little thing that happens as an extension of daily life is so warm. ...Ah, I found myself really thinking, "I wish days like this existed." ...I mean it. A warm place, the body warmth of someone beside you, quiet time — this work had all of that in it. ...After I finished listening, I couldn't do anything for a while. ...All that's left in my ears is a voice, and yet somehow the inside of my chest aches faintly. Maybe that disqualifies me as a reviewer. But to sum it up: whoever gets to listen to this is a lucky person. ...Oh, and one more thing. If someone is listening to this, then that night, they surely aren't alone. That much, I can guarantee.

It all started because I bought this to fill the void left by the loss I felt after the popular theatrical release of "Che*nsaw Man"... well, the fact that this actually upgraded my sense of loss is a separate story. I never even dreamed (in my wildest fantasies) that a sequel would come, YO☆ So when I finally went ahead and bought it, I basically died of happiness. If I had to sum up my thoughts in a four-character idiom, it'd have to be "divine." What, that's not a four-character idiom? Don't worry about the small details. Anyway, the distance between the protagonist and onee-san got way closer. Actually, the biggest shock of the year for me (even though the year just started) was finding out they'd become a couple. Just that alone was enough to snipe me right through the heart. Now then, if you've read this review all the way to here, I'd say you're quite the avid reader. Because can you even call this a review? Even an elementary schooler could write a better book report than this, right? I'm sure you're tired of reading more of this, so let me sum up the overall review. The best. That's it.

This is the story that comes after the previous work, where the two of them, having passed each other by while carrying regret in their hearts, finally reach a happy ending. In the previous work, Konatsu-chan had grown distant from her family and was searching for a place where her heart could belong. Seeing her become connected with the boy and looking so happy warms my heart completely. As a story, I felt the previous work already reached a beautiful happy ending when the two were reunited, so I thought this new work would simply be full of pure happiness between the two of them. But there was a serious undertone woven in among all the lovey-dovey moments, and we got to see a new, more scatterbrained side of Konatsu-chan that wasn't very visible in the previous work — it was packed full of everything that makes Spica's writing so distinctive, and it was wonderful. Personally, I was happy about the crossover elements with Spica's other works, like the setting of the inn Nagomidokoro Ichibanboshi and the bit about coffee beans, and Konatsu-onee-san's tipsy mode was so annoyingly cute that it's a personal favorite of mine. Of course it works great as ASMR for helping you fall asleep, but personally, I'd recommend first listening through it carefully once as a single story, more like a voice drama.

Our Konatsu-onee-san is back!! That alone makes me happy, of course, but since the story involves staying at Ichibanboshi, I was glad, as a fan of Spica's works, that Tsuki-chan and Wakana-san were mentioned. It gave me that feeling of "Ah, so this is the same timeline." Of course, those are just flavor elements, so as long as you've listened to the direct previous work, "If I Could Meet My First Love Onee-san Again, This Time I Want to Be Spoiled and Spoil Her Back," you'll basically be fine. Konatsu-onee-san's slightly scatterbrained side is cute too. That "can't get up in the morning" onee-san position is great too...! Audio works with Ueda Reina as the voice really are the best!

This is my first time posting a review, so please forgive the clumsy, hard-to-read writing. m(_ _)m *Please be aware this contains spoilers. I've listened to a ton of ASMR up until now, but this is the best one among them. Track 1 conjured up an image so dazzling for someone like me who always eats alone that I almost teared up. Track 2 had breathing and whispers that made it feel like she was really right beside me — the first time I listened, I fell straight asleep. (The kissing sounds are incredibly ecchi; my heart pounds no matter how many times I listen.) In Track 3, the sound of the bus running and the noise inside the vehicle, aside from Yuzuki Konatsu's (Ueda Reina) voice, felt so realistic that even though I was listening while lying in bed, I almost had the illusion of "wait, am I on a bus?" In Track 4, the sound of footsteps and the sound of the irori (hearth) were clearly distinguishable. Yuzuki Konatsu (Ueda Reina) talking and chatting beside me was wonderful. The rustling of fabric when changing into a yukata, the little "guh" sound when tightening the obi — I could feel the meticulous attention to detail down to the smallest parts. In Track 5, there's a slightly echoing voice, the sound of soaking feet in a foot bath, the sound of getting out of the foot bath, the sound of water when walking with wet feet. How far are they going to go with this attention to detail!? I was amazed by every single track. As for Track 5.5, I'm not 20 years old yet, so I haven't listened to it. Once I turn 20, I plan to listen to it until I've memorized every word. Thank you for reading this far. I actually considered writing about Track 6 and beyond too, but I ended up wanting to do the "you'll have to find out the rest for yourself!!" thing, so I'm sorry m(_ _)m I hope this clumsy, hard-to-read review makes you even a little curious about this work. First of all, thank you. The previous work was already wonderful, but it came back even more powered up, and I'm so happy. There are parts that really land better if you've listened to the previous one, so anyone considering buying should make sure to get the previous work too. By the time I was old enough to know my own mind, it was already too late, but this is a work that made me think, "this is the life I wanted — to be spoiled by and spoil an onee-san like this." More than anything, just knowing it's an audio work with Ue-shama's voice is already more than worth the money, so all I can say is thank you. And finally — thank you.

I bought the previous work and used to listen to it when going to sleep. I bought the new one and got right into bed to listen to it — as expected, the onee-san's voice is so calming that I dozed off before long. Maybe it's especially the ear-cleaning that I like, but the combination of Ueda Reina's voice and the ear-cleaning sounds made for a wonderfully calming time. It's simply a great work that really helps you sleep well.

The previous work had some slightly heavy elements (since it was story-focused...), but this time it really spoils you a lot. You can enjoy a denser experience compared to the previous work. There's also a klutzy side to her that shows a different facet, which is nice. There are also story elements that make you hope for a continuation, and that other character from the previous work also appears, so there's hope for a spin-off or sequel too.

This is the second installment, and compared to the previous one, which felt like an anime you listened to for the story, the sweetness level has been cranked way up!! Since it's the aftermath of the two getting together in the previous work, it's full-throttle lovey-dovey! This is a work where you can listen to the two of them being spoiled and spoiling each other. There are also some small fan-service elements connecting to other works. Even if you haven't listened to the previous work, you can still enjoy this one on its own.

This is an after-story following the happy ending of the previous work. A total shift from the melancholic mood of the previous work to a lovey-dovey, happy story — really good. Ueda Reina's whisper voice paired with ear-cleaning sounds alone makes this worth buying. Personally, the tipsy onee-san was just too cute, I couldn't handle it! Also, since the inn where the protagonist and onee-san stay is Nagomidokoro Ichibanboshi, it was nice how characters from other Spica works are indirectly connected.
