[Rain, Ear Cleaning, Whispers] A Healing Afternoon After School, Filled with the Scent of Coffee [Ambient ASMR]

Ayumi Sara-sama's circle potte has released their first all-ages work, so I thought I'd write my first review. I'd like to share my personal conclusion first. I sleep really well ← I've already listened to this a few times before bed, and before I know it, it's morning. Up to a certain point, I remember being soothed by the pleasant sound of rain, the sound of pages turning, the sound of coffee being brewed, along with the gentle and cute voice of the kouhai Ayaka-chan (CV: Ayumi Sara-sama), but after that…… Anyway, it seems this really suited me, and I was able to fall asleep very comfortably. Track 3 is the one that puts me to sleep most comfortably, so I recommend it.

At first there are the sounds of sketching, walking sounds, footsteps — right from the first track, those who love ambient sound will find their hearts full of anticipation. Once you get home, the noisy sounds disappear and things settle down, but this time you get to enjoy quiet sounds like the rain, breathing, and the rustling of clothes. With the drawing and the hair dryer scenes, you can enjoy the relationship with the kouhai girl while also feeling the charm of the quiet atmosphere with its natural ambient sounds. Spending time with the kouhai girl amid the natural sounds of the rain — it was such a high-quality work that I highly recommend it to anyone who likes this kind of thing. However, for people who have no knowledge of drawing, there might be parts that are hard to relate to or understand.

This long-awaited, fully healing-focused all-ages work exceeded my expectations with its meticulous, realistic sound design and high healing power, and the youthful, close-yet-distant back-and-forth with the kouhai girl was absolutely wonderful too! In particular, the attention to detail in the rain and coffee sounds referenced in this title's name is amazing. The rain sounds differ not only between indoors and outdoors, but there's even a difference between just before leaving school (outside but under a roof) and the walk home, as well as a difference in how it sounds inside the school building versus at home. On top of that, there are the sounds of raindrops hitting an umbrella, cars passing by, and footsteps on wet asphalt — all incredibly realistic and comforting rain ambience. As for the coffee, it's not just the sound of the grinder running or water being poured — you get the entire sequence of sounds: opening the container, opening the bag, putting in the beans, leveling them off, measuring the amount, the tapping sound of dropping the ground coffee into the dripper, the dripping sound of the extracted coffee falling into the cup, and more. It's full of sounds that anyone who brews coffee at home will find familiar. The level of care is such that you can vividly picture the scene, and it created the most wonderful healing space. On top of that, there's a hair dryer sound realistic enough that you can practically feel the warmth, the cool and heart-fluttering sound of her rubbing lotion into her hands before applying it directly, the pleasant low-pitched sound of ear cleaning that gives you the satisfying feeling of really getting the earwax out, and so many more healing ASMR sounds I could keep listing. And beyond that, even small sounds like the door, footsteps, or something being set down or a lid being opened change depending on the object and the way it's moved — the overwhelming realism was such a luxury, it was amazing……! Amid this luxurious, healing atmosphere, the kouhai Ayaka-chan — who has a casual relationship with you, treating you with respect while lightly teasing you — takes full advantage of this rare chance to devotedly make advances on you, and the way she suddenly gets embarrassed at how close you are feels so youthful, and she's just so cute. Especially the way her voice acting captures that flustered stammering, where the consonants barely escape into something that's not quite words — it's so incredibly cute, I love it! Also, I'm running out of characters, so just one last word: I really hope for a sequel too!
