[Yuri ASMR] Full Cat's-Eye View♡ Mikoto & Rei's Lovey-Dovey Sweet Summer Vacation

This work is a continuation of "Secretly Watching from a Cat's Perspective," the lovey-dovey home date between Mikoto and Rei. I thought the previous work was epoch-making in that it set up a format different from the traditional yuri audio work format, but this time, while keeping that same format, what stood out was how it took a step further by depicting the two of them going through a period of misunderstanding within the story. Same-sex love between people of the opposite sex to oneself—that is, yuri for men, or BL for women—tends to be casually consumed as something "nice," but I felt that for those actually involved, there must be conflicts that straight couples don't face, due to society's eyes or institutional issues. Diversity regarding these matters is gradually being recognized these days, but I think people of Rei's grandmother's generation often still lack understanding, and it's no wonder that Mikoto got hung up on an offhand remark from Rei (though Rei didn't say "friend" with that kind of intention). One of the highlights of this work is being able to enjoy the serious acting of Marika Kono and Ryo Hirohashi, who play Mikoto and Rei. And this time, as a 14-day limited bonus, you even get a free talk session between the two of them, which is wonderful. I love how their tone during free talk differs from when they're in character. I personally know of a case where someone brought their pet cat on a trip and it got lost and never came back, so that part made me a little anxious, but since Forte, the pet cat who is also meant to represent the listener, is set up as being smart, I guess it's fine (lol). I only found this out after finishing listening to this work, but apparently at C106, a manga version was distributed as a new release by Kudou Eru-sensei, the original creator of Miko-Rei. Since post-event mail order sales are exclusive to a certain distribution channel, it's not available for purchase on DLsite, but if you're interested, why not check out Kudou Eru-sensei's X account?

This appears to be the second work in the series. The previous work covered the standard elements of general ASMR, but this one seems to have made a bit of a change. That is, while the coverage of standard ASMR elements is somewhat light, the depth of the audio has improved, and the sense of sound coming from multiple directions is quite immersive. Furthermore, with the theme of yuri, where even the people involved can't clearly say it's "right," I feel that the twists and turns of that uncertainty heighten the dramatic quality. Because of this, it has become an excellent sequel that successfully avoids the bad byproduct of tedium that can result from a sort of vaguely-made follow-up. Naturally, I gave it 5 stars and a recommendation! So, as for who I'd recommend this to even more, - Those who think having the two leads together is a great deal. (The sense of weight from having the actually older actress play the younger character?) - Those who have understanding of or interest in yuri. (Maybe some classic yuri tropes too?) - Fans of "I Am a ○." (Censored just in case?) Other than that, I actually don't know that much about Hirohashi-san specifically, but her voice has a certain maturity to it, and of course her acting skill is top-notch, and the way she firmly pulls Kono-san along as a senior voice actress is more than enough to give a glimpse of the depth of talent in this field. I'm simply impressed by how solid this category is.

This is the second audio work in the Miko-Rei series, written and illustrated by Kudou Eru-sensei, and in this installment too, the listener gets to peek in on the two of them's time together as the pet cat, Forte. The setting is a remote island in Okinawa where Rei's grandmother lives, and during their beach date, with no one else around, the two of them happily being all lovey-dovey together was really cute, and the sound of the waves was pleasant too—I got to fully enjoy that summer-vacation feeling. Also, it's not just lovey-dovey moments—there's a depiction of how the two have a falling-out over something and fight, up until they make up, and the way they threw their honest feelings at each other was wonderfully youthful, and above all, the lovey-doveyness after making up was just so good! The fact that they couldn't stop being affectionate even with the grandmother sleeping in the same house gave it a nice sense of forbidden pleasure. Also, as Forte, you get shampooed and have your ears cleaned, so the healing elements were well represented too—it was a work where you could fully savor both the two of them being lovey-dovey and that sense of healing.

This is an ASMR work where you can enjoy Mikoto and Rei's lovey-dovey romance from a cat's perspective. I knew a sequel was coming out and had been looking forward to it! In this one, they go on a trip to Okinawa where Rei's grandmother lives. The listener becomes Forte, Mikoto's pet cat, and gets to peek in on the two of them being lovey-dovey, as well as be taken care of with ear cleaning and massages—it's an incredibly healing work. Something happens that causes their feelings to drift apart, but after they overcome that and make up, the lovey-dovey moments made my heart flutter just listening to them. Compared to the previous work, the scenario has been powered up even further, with the two characters explored more deeply, and I could really feel how much they treasure each other. If possible, please keep making more stories about these two and the one cat going forward! Thank you in advance. Thank you for such a wonderful work.

I've been waiting for the sequel!! The conversation and dialogue between the two of them feel really natural and draw you right in. Of course the lovey-dovey scenes are great, but personally, I also love how in the midst of their everyday, casual conversations, there's a sense of daily life with the cat around, and that expression pulls you even deeper into the immersion. You get to fully witness Marika Kono's spoiled, mischievous side, and Ryo Hirohashi's side where she somehow ends up losing out anyway. If you're a fan of either of them, buying this is absolutely worth it!! For next time, I'd love to see a Halloween story with the two of them plus one cat.

Until I encountered this masterpiece, I wondered why this summer was so boring. With these two girls, you can experience the most wonderful summer without going anywhere. Just as I praised the previous work, you won't regret letting these yuri girls express their love right in your ear!!! Miko-Rei is the best. Kudou Eru-san is the strongest. Marika Kono's and Ryo Hirohashi's voices suit it so perfectly ~qwq

I'm writing this review while listening right now, and I'm fully enjoying the happiness of hearing the two of them's voices through my noise-canceling earphones!! I'm now certain I'm going to become completely obsessed with [Mikoto and Rei], so I'm going to make the most of my belated summer vacation! Just imagining what kind of close, lovey-dovey moments the two of them will show me from here on, and picturing the two of them in swimsuits, makes me feel like joy is overflowing from my ears lol lol My life's pleasures have increased and I'm very satisfied ♪♪

I hadn't really been into audio works much, but I was drawn in by this series' illustrations and the voice actors involved, so I bought it. The illustrations, characters, scenario, and structure were all wonderful, and everything meshed together so well that it made for a really great experience. The interaction between Mikoto and Rei was so good—I can't quite put it into words, but it was the most precious thing ever!!

Just as the prior information said, it's almost like a voice drama, so I think the ASMR elements are a bit understated, but the scenario and the cast's performances were so good that I was able to listen completely immersed! (The sensei who even supervised the acting is truly amazing too...!) Throughout the whole thing, my ears seemed happy no matter where I was listening, but what really stood out was how it shifted from the cheerful, excited mood of the early part during the trip back to Okinawa, to the later part where Mikoto, who had been bothered by the word "friend," honestly confesses her feelings to Rei, and the words Rei says back to her—the acting there was so good!! Also, I'm really happy that you can enjoy the illustrations from the manga book alongside listening! I'm truly looking forward to a third installment and beyond!

This was the first time I bought and listened to an ASMR work. Both of their voices were so cute, it put me in a happy mood. More than as ASMR, it was really interesting as a story. The illustrations matched the voice actresses' voices perfectly—amazing. I wanted to keep listening to the two of them's banter forever. Maybe this goes without saying, but it's not something to listen to on the commuter train. It's embarrassing. Anyway, this is a work where I'm extremely curious about what happens next. I'll definitely buy the next installment too!
