This is a story that wholeheartedly affirms a love born of madness. One day, right before Shinonome Ichika's eyes, her best friend Tadehara Hitomi took her own life. "I'm sorry for hurting you so much, Ichika." "If I could start over with you, Ichika, this time I'd want to have a normal kind of love." Hitomi, who was supposed to have ended her own life with those final words, appeared before Ichika one day, as naturally as if nothing had happened. From that day on, Ichika found herself being consumed by Hitomi's twisted love. The classmate who had been standing in the way of her romance with Ichika was killed by Hitomi, and Ichika herself grew ever more tainted by Hitomi's warped desires. Will Ichika be able to accept Hitomi's love?
Born the daughter of a family of doctors, she looks to anyone like the very picture of a proper young lady. But in truth she carries a "guilty secret," known only to Hitomi, who took her own life. Ichika had been on leave from school for a while after witnessing Hitomi's suicide firsthand, but then, as naturally as if nothing had happened, the supposedly dead Hitomi appeared before her, and from then on her life was thrown into turmoil. Toward Hitomi, she harbored feelings that went beyond friendship but stopped just short of romance.
Having lost her parents at a young age, she lives with her grandmother. She's a gentle, somewhat airheaded girl. Just as she landed her professional debut as an anime voice actress, she suddenly took her own life, her final words expressing a wish to "have a normal kind of love with Ichika." But before long, though she should have been dead, she appeared before Ichika again as naturally as ever. She alone knows the secret Ichika never wants anyone to find out.
A self-proclaimed "witch." She is a relative of Tadehara Hitomi—specifically, her aunt, as Mikuri's younger brother is Hitomi's father. Quick to sense the strange phenomena caused by the resurrection of the supposedly dead Hitomi, she reaches out to Ichika. She desperately wants to save the soul of Hitomi, who has known nothing but a string of misfortunes from childhood right up to the present.
A mutual close friend of Ichika and Hitomi. Cheerful and outgoing, with a wide circle of acquaintances. She has been in the same class as Ichika ever since their first year, right up to now, and has served as a dependable, if unseen, support to Ichika.

Chapter 1 through Chapter 7 When you choose an option that's the opposite of what the protagonist is thinking, her face completely changes. This directorial choice was pretty scary. The way her personality changes too was way too frightening. How should I put it... it feels like the protagonist is loved to the utmost by his yandere girlfriend. She acted as if to say she'd do anything for love. I thought this aspect was amazing. As for the endings, the bad end seemed the most "normal" to me. The true end is too scary because of how the relationships turn out, and even the happy end is scary once you think about what it actually means. Chapter 8 This had an outrageous development where everything you'd played through until then gets overturned. The first time through, it felt like mistaking a spicy curry for a mild one — because what the mastermind was doing was just too terrifying. Kyoko is amazing in a certain sense. It's something an ordinary person could never do, to consistently play that character from start to finish. As for those three, I ended up feeling a bit sorry for them. Though it also feels like they brought it on themselves.
This work begins with the shocking development of the heroine, who committed suicide, coming back to life. It's a work with the charming blend of the fairy-tale-like and the grotesque that can also be seen in the author's other works. As for the game system, it's a simple system where the choices that lead to "mad direction" are clearly indicated. Each chapter lets you see behind-the-scenes episodes from the heroine's perspective. As you go through these, the sense of unease builds up little by little... A work that carries through on the catchphrase of "total affirmation of a mad love."
I got to know about it through Meu-chan's channel on YouTube, and from there I bought the ASMR and videos, and just recently I bought this game version too. The content is a horror game, but it's not that scary, so I can recommend it to people who are bad with horror but love yandere characters! It was very much a work to my taste. I'd like to buy again if Meu-channel puts out something else. The quality was high, and I was glad about that.
