[ASMR] With the Onee-san Next to Me at the Bathhouse

A wonderful yuri audio work that's incredibly reassuring. I got the impression that it's a work specialized in healing, and the way it unfolds gently and calmly is really pleasant. Among audio works that are hardcore or have personalities so strong they give you heartburn, it makes me really happy to have a certain number of works like this one. The healing power is so high that I always fall asleep before I can listen to the end, so if there's one flaw, it's that I don't really remember how it ends.

This is... a very good yuri, perfect for bedtime. There's no R18-style intimacy, so rather than that kind of heart-pounding excitement, it's a very soothing work with a good balance between the gentle, mature older sister's voice and sound effects at just the right volume. The sound of the hair dryer, for instance, is heard a bit distantly, giving it a white-noise-like quality similar to rain sounds—it's healing through and through. The ear-cleaning sounds were a mix of a cotton swab stroking the ear canal with a soft "shuru" sound, and a crunchy "zah-zah" sound like stepping on fresh snow (subtle). There's ear-blowing too! The older sister's suggestive lines that make you feel like "does she have feelings for me?" made me grin. Her tone of voice doesn't stray far from the impression you get in the preview, so you can rest easy about that. I usually prefer listening to works with male voices, but this yuri was very easy to listen to. I'm glad to have added another work to rely on when I can't sleep.

Excluding the duplicate sections, this is an audio work of about 45 minutes (of which the main story is about 30 minutes). It's about ending up together with an older sister you meet at a public bathhouse. The voice actress is Ichika. It was a name I was encountering for the first time, but overall she had a calm feel, and her gentle, conversational way of speaking matched the style of the work well. I'm a man, and I rarely listen to voice works aimed at women, but considering it's a yuri situation, I was able to listen without any sense of discomfort. There were scenes unique to the protagonist (= the listener) being a woman, like how she cares for the hair during the hair dryer scene, and I enjoyed parts like these. The part with the longest playtime, which could be called the main event, is the ear-cleaning part. The ear-cleaning sound from the cotton swab had a soft feel, and this too was pleasant to listen to.
