Ie-Kano: A Day of Crafting with Your Shy Engineer Girlfriend

Naoda Himena's voice acting was a perfect fit for this role. I only knew her from "That Time I Got Reincarnated..." wait, I mean "My Dress-Up Darling," where she played the energetic gyaru protagonist, so that lively, friendly gyaru voice was my strong impression of her. In this work, though, she does a complete 180 and plays an introverted, socially awkward, timid "industrial girl" type character, which felt very fresh. Even though her voice gives an introverted impression, it doesn't come across as someone who's bad with people — true to the theme of "Living-Together Girlfriend," she comes across as a modest, wonderful woman who visits the listener's home and carefully, devotedly provides all sorts of services. That really works well. Also, in addition to the standard ASMR fare like ear cleaning and sleeping together, I personally loved the parts where she enjoys crafting things as part of her "industrial girl" character — like woodworking DIY and building plastic models — both the acting and the sound effects during those scenes really hit the spot for me.

This is a work about a service where a girl spends a whole day with you as your girlfriend, and you get to spend a leisurely day together. The ratio feels like about 7 parts ASMR to 3 parts conversation, so you can really enjoy the ambient sounds too. The ear cleaning with oil-blotting paper has a satisfying rustly, somewhat intense sound, and the plastic model building sounds, which are probably the highlight, have a lot of variety too, so it never felt monotonous at all. That feeling of her working right next to you is the best.

Since this time's heroine is an engineer, there's a track where you do DIY and build plastic models together with her. I'm not someone who's particularly good with my hands, so it was fun to spend time on something I'm not very familiar with. Spending time with someone who shares your hobbies is nice, but spending time with someone you like doing something you don't know about is also one of the real joys of being with another person.

口下手でややハスキーな声の一日彼女と過ごす音声。 エンジニアの卵ということで、作業音がたっぷり入っているのが特徴。 この手の音声だと、「作業音に集中したいから今はちょっと静かにしてほしいな…」というのがありがちだと思いますが、これは作業音だけ聞ける時間があるのがグッド。彼女の声も落ち着いていて安眠できます。 ただちょっと効果音が大きいです。2番目のトラックなんかは、ティッシュのゴソゴソした音が大きめに入っているのでちょっとウッとなりました。 自分はスマホで聴いたので、音量を自動調整してくれる機器なんかがあれば快適かもしれません。 とはいえ、プラモの塗装なんかはスプレーを試し吹きする音が入っていたりして聴き応えがあります。 トータルではオススメ。たまに挟まるささやき声も最高です。隣で作業してくれるシチュが好きな人はぜひ。

2時間ちょっとの音声作品。 口下手なエンジニアの女子高生(須玖梨)と一日だけ彼女として過ごすというもの。 声優は直田姫奈さん。口下手らしいキャラを演じながらも不快に感じない演技が良かった。 一日だけ彼女という設定から、良からぬ妄想が掻き立てられるが健全な作品。 シチュエーションは耳かきの他に、エンジニアらしく理系っぽいものや物作りに絡んだものがあった。 個人的お気に入りはトラック2。 キ〇ワイプが出てきて少しニヤリとした。 私も一応学生時代は工学部だったので、使ったことがある。 これを保湿に使ったりすると教授に怒られないか?とか突っ込みたくなる部分はあったが、カサカサした音とか聴いていて心地良かった。 キ〇ワイプとティッシュの違いとかが結構細かく説明されているのも良かった。
