It's true that on a certain video site, ASMR using voice synthesis software or Zundamon has existed for a while now. Even so, the sheer nerve of putting out synthetic voice ASMR for sale on DLsite... I figured that meant they had confidence in it, so I bought it. Listening to it, I get it now — the quality is more than worth the price. This is just my personal impression, but the slight unnaturalness that comes with synthetic voice falls within a range that the character setting makes acceptable. On top of that, the voice never becomes unpleasant as ASMR. This is totally workable. It's priced cheap at 220 yen, but I guess that's because it's the circle's first work and kind of a test of the waters? The volume and content are clearly more than worth the price. If you listen to the sample and find the unnaturalness within an acceptable range, I think this is a work you can buy without hesitation.
An audio work about an hour and a half long. Priced at a reasonable 200 yen before tax, so the cost performance is good too. The situation is having an android girl clean your ears. This was the first time I bought a synthetic voice work from DLsite. It felt different from what you'd call a normal voice work where a voice actor speaks directly, and I felt each type has its own distinct appeal. Also, the heroine's sharp-tongued remarks during the ear cleaning part were interesting in various ways. Even just the sample voice is over 20 minutes long, giving it the volume of a shorter audio work all on its own, so I think it'd be worth checking out the sample if you're curious.
