"My Only VTuber" is a series of audio content works that makes that dream — "a stream that my favorite VTuber does just for me" — come true! At first glance, there's a beloved, popular VTuber who seems perfect, but through some chance event you get to see the side of her that's secretly working hard behind the scenes, and because of that you end up being the very first person to hear her new ASMR work, and after that you even end up in a secret relationship with her... Is this maybe like backing a high-tier crowdfunding plan, or like getting a secret DM after continuously sending expensive donations...? No such thing! With the My Only VTuber series, you can enjoy that kind of situation for a list price of under 2,000 yen. Isn't that just the best. It's also nice and satisfying that you get to enjoy four characters: VTuber Kagura Kaguya, the real Kagura Kaguya, the school nurse played by Kagura Kaguya, and the private tutor played by Kagura Kaguya. Personally, I love the assertive tutor. Heh heh. If I got into a relationship like this with Kaguya-chan, I'd probably end up melting away my savings on superchats too...

It's a rare kind of situation, and I thought it was interesting and nice that the communication is established simply through writing comments in response to what she says. But more than that, the quality of the two ASMR works she performs is so high that partway through, I genuinely started listening to it as if it were a work about a private tutor, and I was surprised when it went back to the original setting, lol. Personally, the part where the school nurse gives you a tight hug made my heart race like crazy. Overall, the whispering close to the ear and the breaths were so soothing, and combined with the distinctive touch of Fujita Akane's voice works, her acting ability was outstanding — truly a wonderful work.

The heroine, Kaguya, is a VTuber, and this work is about how, triggered by a stream setting mistake, "a stream with just the two of us" begins. As a condition for keeping quiet about it, you end up agreeing to help Kaguya practice for her ASMR stream, and as roleplay she performs both "the school nurse" and "the beautiful private tutor" for you. The school nurse chapter starts with her disinfecting and treating a scrape. Here she comes across as a caring, reliable teacher, and you can feel her warmth and thoughtful concern in every little detail, which gave a real sense of reassurance. Also, the devastating power of the whispered lines was incredible, and the way the distance between you rapidly closes starting from the stethoscope scene made my heart race without meaning to. The beautiful private tutor chapter has more of a casual, forward older-sister vibe, and is centered around healing tracks like ear cleaning and sleeping together. There's plenty of breathing, positive encouragement, and occasional gentle teasing — you really get to savor her "rewards." Both roleplays carefully depict a one-on-one, close-distance situation, and the concept of "having your popular girlfriend all to yourself" is perfectly captured — it was a work I could listen to feeling great the whole way through. And above all, Fujita Akane's differentiation between the roles was wonderful; I got to enjoy the distinct charm of each character in every part. The unperformed, natural Kaguya is also very expressive, and especially her flustered or embarrassed moments were adorable — she's a heroine you can enjoy for that gap in personality as well. The series' second and third installments are also planned, and I'm looking forward to the appearance of "Urara-senpai," who was mentioned by name in this work and apparently is quite the airhead...!
